I had considered a post saying that Disney Plus was adding Muppet content, I would have said it was Hey Cinderella, The Frog Prince, The Muppet Musicians of Bremen, The Muppets Go Hollywood, The Fantastic Miss Piggy Show, Tale of the Bunny Picnic, and "Muppet Shorts" - which would have mainly...
For the last few years, the term "Sesame Brats" has applied to a certain kind of Sesame Street fan on the forum, though there are many who have decided against calling them that - and apparently, it was the "Brats" themselves who applied the term for them.
But what if Sesame Street had...
I had originally planned on just saying Disney bought MTM, MFS, and KSY. In fact I had toyed with this April fools post since I had become a member of the forum.
Well, I guess soon people will stop asking "why doesn't Disney+ carry MTM and MFS?" Or they'll have a more legitimate reason to ask the longer they wait to do so.
It's been announced that Disney has bought Sony, which means they own the rights to The Muppets Take Manhattan, Muppets from...
Last night I saw the street scenes from episode 1880, noticed a brief speaking appearance by Bruno, saying "okay". And I noticed in both that and the 1980 World Puppetry Appearance, he talks a little softly. There's also a season 13 episode where he's shown talking but can't really be heard...
It's been announced that The Muppet Show on Disney Plus has been so successful that Diamond Select Toys will once again release Muppet figures at retail, including the canceled series 4 (including the figures that have been released as exclusives), but also, in honor of Muppet Treasure Island's...
I thoughts about saying “I have a few better ones planned... APRIL FOOLS!”, but “better” is subjective (and maybe the fans would like the others a lot better).
I know.
I had originally considered posting about Fraggle Rock pogs before deciding Dinosaurs might be a little more random.
Maybe I should have made it be about Ghost of Faffner Hall pogs.
This morning I went to Target and saw official Dinosaurs Pogs. How odd. Pogs hadn't been popular since 1996, though I have seen new Pogs at Target in the last few years.
A list inside a mini-catalogue mentions who all is included. There's Pogs for all the main characters, plus one for every...
There's a new report that the 1990 video game Muppet Adventures: Chaos at the Carnival is going to be rereleased on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and XBOX One this Summer. Much like DuckTales Remastered and Aladdin/The Lion King Remastered, this special remastered edition will be remastered in...
It is interesting that the more expensive ones seem to also get less time with each fan. I would think the ones that cost less would be longer sessions. Of course the ones who charge more are probably in more demand (and I'm not sure who decides on the prices), and I guess if there's more demand...
An early Aristotle appearance. I am surprised to see he has less hair than in other appearances I have seen (which come from the same episode), his ears are a lot easier to see as well. I should have seen these on the wiki guides (unless I just hadn't seen the episode page after images were...
I say that I don't really remember the Blue Bird segments from when I was a kid, but he pretty much sounds the way I was expecting (and he wasn't voiced by any of the main performers or anyone whose voice I am familiar with). Must be sudden instant recall effect.
Speaking of an instant recall...
Just because he wasn't voicing characters yet does not mean he wasn't involved with writing songs yet.
Thinking a bit about the Monotones, even though it was common for one of the regular voices to be absent, I wonder if instead of Richard Hunt they should have had another of the songwriters...
Looking at the page and editing history for Blue Bird, I feel I should have clicked on the sourced link, as the page previously only mentioned a little of what Rick Lyon said about Blue Bird. Though the whole quote has been there for months.
Back when I only knew of him being dropped because...
I should check Muppet Wiki because that was not on the page last time I checked (which was a while ago).
Blue Bird kind of sounds like a Kevin Clash character, though I know Clash didn’t do the voice. I wonder why they had it be a separate voice actor as opposed to Rick Lyon.
This is the first I heard about Caroll Spinney hating the segment (I guess that’s why they didn’t have him play Blue Bird).
i don’t really remember the character from when I was a kid though I was actively watching the show then (and it seems like the kind of thing that should have stood out...
