just a question... what types of glues does everybody here use? right now i'm using hot glue (high temp)... i was thinking of changing up my process...

as far as the "scotts foam", i haven't been able to find any in my area, but you can't go wrong asking around, or grabbing a phone book and looking for foam suppliers... if you are looking to put a covering on your puppets, but not dye them; i have found some 1/2 in. polyfoam at jo-ann...

you know... i didn't think of that... i'll give that a try the next time one of my designs call for smaller eyes... You know, i'm glad there is a place like this... Where people can help one another, and not be afraid to ask questions...

just found this thread about eyes... just checking if anyone else did some kind of tutorial on puppet eyes i have not found a paint to hold well in the practice golfballs... they just keep soaking it in... i did a little Tut on the eyes i've made for a few (and possibly more) puppets i'm...

mrhogg you're right about going from kids show to adult humor... i do watch sesame and muppet show; i never got the adult humor until i was an adult, you know... i'm watching season 1 muppets now... i really was thinking way too much into it... i always deal with the bad what ifs and kinda...

That's funny... i've been contemplating doing things that involved puppets who are vulgar and just mean spirited... Not too bad to where it's tasteless though... But that brings me to a crossroads... Take the light path and be able to do shows for kids, and make a name locally and whatnot...
