Another vid of the scaled down version of EGT. I love that they amped up the originally BORING choreography! :-P

Hahaha. Well they used MOST of it :p Cookie Monster is definitely in it! I'm not sure what character he's split with. I think it's Oscar...? Purple Honker who was once the medium understudy is now the tall understudy. There is no Orange Honker in the scaled down version. Not sure who the medium...
Much Much Better! In order for this show to survive, it needs to stay hip, current, fresh and appeal to all the young boys and girls of TODAY, NOT older fans who miss Sesame Street of the 90's. If the Abby-less and Elmo-less Sesame Street of the 80's and 90's was what was still being played on...
It's not that easy... There's only enough funding for X amount of episodes. And obviously, if they're only gonna produce, let's say, 25 episodes, they're not gonna focus on peripheral, obscure, nearly forgotten about characters. They're gonna focus on the favorites of the target audience, kids...
this only happened in madrid. everywhere else they used the full "theater" set...
sometimes on the international circuit, the venues are so small that they literally have to reduce the size of the stage... thus causing them to re-stage numbers, and cut scenery, props and even characters...
All the shows will accommodate Abby now. Just like 123 Imagine replaced Zoe with Abby for this current remount. But VEE makes several changes every time they remount a SSL show, whether it's changing characters, songs, and scenes altogether. The last time they did When "I" Grow Up, there was no...
Well this is how they did the cast last time RFA was on the theater circuit:
Grover/ Number 1
Elmo
Zoe/Gene
Telly
Rosita
Cookie/Oscar
Big Bird/ Number 0
Bert
Kay
Ernie-Kay
Baby Bear/Count
Understudies: Roxy/Grundgetta/Honker
My favorite newer shows are EGT, EMM and ECB! Although WEGU has the...
10 speaking characters and 3 understudy characters is how every show is done on the theater tour circuit. The change is that instead of having 2 arena tours with 13 speaking characters and 1 theater tour, they're gonna have 3 theater tours. *BUDGET CUTS* It won't last forever, don't worry :) And...
Just figured I'd start a new thread for the all new SSL show, which actually isn't new at all :-P
It's a remount of the Super Grover: Ready For Action! which premiered in 05
It's title changed to simply Ready For Action in late 2007 and it became Elmo : Ready For Action! in early 2008...
Told you So :-P
They're calling it Elmo's Healthy Heroes

Out of This World was kind of a crappy show. Poorly written. Kinda Boring. I agree they should remount LBF (which I'm certain they would rename... Elmo's Friendship Club)...
They're all still there in the Vee Warehouse. Herry isn't a character on SS anymore so I doubt he'll be making an appearance in any SSL shows. But yeah, if they were to update Let's Play School they would have to add Abby, as well as Baby Bear, Rosita, Telly and Zoe. I'm sure they would replace...
Not running out of ideas... Just trying to save money in this economy. I mean it makes sense. It cost approx. $3 million to create a new show. You have to factor in set building and paying the writers, musical director, choreographer, director, muppeteer voices and paying for the rights to each...
