Oh no, gotta disagree here, pumpkin pie needs to be home made (well, from the can of pumpkin mix anyway-- but with way more cinnamon than they call for on the can) so you can eat warm from the oven with the whip cream melting into the crevices in the pie....
To the first part-- yes, it is a horrible disease. Not only does it kill, but it so often kills very slowly in a variety of painful ways. Just awful.
On the second, I haven't seen anything about that in regard to the Sesame character. It would be an interesting challenge... I think the...
Capt Crouton-- Sesame Street was not dumbed down for younger viewers because it is not a strong show. The people behind Sesame Street-- a team comprised of television professionals, child psychologists, sociologists, educators and other experts-- regularly rework the show, or parts of the show...
I understand how you feel and your enthusiasm is great. If you want to start a petition, well, start one!
TMS is being released on DVD starting in the fall (I know, TimeLife has had 'em for a while, but I mean an in-store release with the ability to reach more people). I suspect more...
Warrick's right.
Let's be happy they're thinking of having another MF.
We'd all love for it to be convenient for us, but it needs to be convenient for Henson and Creation. On the old board we had a long list of all the places we'd like to see MF held. I think Henson and Creation are...
That's a good thought Emmy! I think Henson has a history of working with Save the Children and that is why that charity was picked, but I could be wrong. There are a ton of AIDS education and research organizations out there-- many that work specifically with/for kids.
It's really nice to...
Matt-- I agree with the sentiment, but yes, that would make things worse. ;)
What would be appropriate would be letters to our lovely representatives pointing out a few facts about geography and the scope of America's Public Broadcasting System. Last time I checked, PBS was not in control...
Very nice! I like the whole gang in there the best. :D
But, uh, where's Kermit? And Piggy?
Also, a suggestion-- could you get a picture with Spencer chewing on Animal's drum stick? If Spencer is anything like my daughter at 6 months, it ought to be pretty easy to get a picture of him...
Buck-Beaver, thank you for the link! What an interesting book. As a Muppet fan and a sociologist, I am fascinated.
Here's a link to purchase it on Amazon (hope this works):

Hmmm, are those new pictures?
One of the Kermit pics looks like it might be a cropped version of Kermit on the roof from The Christmas Toy.
Seems possible that a collection of Christmas/winter Muppet pictures were put together to create a visual for the movie. 'Course they could be new...
Yes, I believe you could classify a scone as a member of the muffin family. But maybe we should find a scone and ask it, I'm a big believer in self-labeling. :p
Umm, you can toss scones this way. Especially if they are fresh and of the raisin variety.
Joggy-- I found your post quite...
I've heard the same thing-- electric knives work well.
I asked about this on the old forum and someone said the Muppet are generally carved with a scroll saw. I don't have that kind of equipment lying around, but having tried a little foam carving I can definitely see how it would be...
Oh please! I can gurantee three people who will join in. Heck-- I'll even print up lyric sheets we can pass out. Anything to get in the proper Muppet-y spirit.
Now, what do you wana sing?
