Thanks for the question list.
Yes, there are plans to update the FAQ. Unfortunately real life concerns have prevented those in charge of the FAQ from getting to it. It's on the to-do list, just not as important as paying bills and pesky little details like that.
In the meantime, if...
If sales pick up, we could even get a mouth-closed version of Pepe in the figure line at some point.
I'm thrilled he's coming out. Now we just need tutu Pepe and Uncle Deadly.....
I get more offended by poor language skills than most-- I have been tempted many times to quote a post and repost it with little red marks and corrections. (I may not teach freshman comp, but that doesn't mean I couldn't.) However, I do make a very big exception for the non-native English...
Haven't been to the Smithsonian in years-- since 96 or 97, but Kermit was a part of the permanent exhibit (with the Fonz's jacket and Charlie as Nate said) back then. In the early 90s there was a big Sesame Street display (maybe late 80s?) with lots of stuff-- even in the cafeteria-- that was...
Precisely, Quinn!
A token is just a token. A flesh and foam Muppet is so much more than that. Two generations of girls have grown up seeing female Muppets as supporting characters on SST. It is definitely time for some girl power.
Zoe is a great character. She'd be a great character...
We couldn't show any of the movies or tv shows-- that little screen at the beginning of a movie that says 'licensed for private home viewing only' is there for a reason. Royalties must be paid for public showings, permission must be gained. Puppeteers have to be paid for appearances, and there...
The money is tempting (believe me-- I know that!) and it's one thing to be okay with a friend selling an extra, but selling your own one-of-a-kind special wedding favor on eBay would just be tacky-- IMHO. I've got a box in the basement of leftover wedding favors (no where near as cool as Ken's...
This is a really nice piece! It is Kermit and Piggy in American Gothique from Miss Piggy's Treasury of Art Masterpieces, Kermitage Collection, 1982. It is a circular stained glass made by Glassmasters in Richmond, VA. The scans don't do it justice-- it looks great hanging in a window with...
Except that the bride lives with Ken in Maryland.
Seems like someone could have just emailed the seller a question and provided Ken with the email address. Would have been a very simple way to track down the seller.
Interesting that it was a member of the wedding party who caved to...
Don't know how much time you spend in women's clothing stores, Luke, but I figured I ask: Are those socks only in adult sizes, or do they come in kid sizes as well?
Luke
Gotta disagree with you on the Chinese food thing. Broccoli in garlic sauce always looks like broccoli in garlic sauce to me. Same goes for vegetable fried rice.
Hey! Not all Muppet costumes look cheap! Some little kids have parents who put time and effort into making pretty darn good Muppet costumes (if I do say so myself). ;)
I don't think Henson owned the Sesame Muppets out right. I believe ownership was split, 50/50 between Sesame Workshop and Henson. So merchandising decisions would have had to be approved by both organizations. Also, hasn't Henson historically been stricter about licensing than Sesame...
My favorite wave is the wave that is about to be released, or the wave Ken has most recently shown in-production pics of, or the wave that has just been announced. Meaning-- they just keep getting better and I keep finding new things to be excited about. :)
