It's just that you don't hear too many Country songs talking about the Rocky Mountains or the enviornment like he did. There are exceptions, but in general it's true. I personally wouldn't consider his career overall Country.
Wow, I can't even imagine that, Kiki! This past Summer was pretty mild. The Summer before that was awful, too hot to enjoy, you know what I mean? (Well yes I guess you do Hehe). What's it like in December in Melbourne?
We had some nice weather this week, but I'm waiting for Fall to start so it can get cold! Then I can start drinking hot chocolate! Hehe!
I bought some orange juice yesterday, I was close to buying the chocolate doughnuts, but didn't have the extra money on me. Maybe next time! lol
Me too, I already knew about Osiris when we started studying Egypt in 6th grade! I love this special, especially the moodiness. I admire Sesame Street for being a little dark sometimes, it made the story better.
Yeah, the feather just doesn't appear for no apparent reason. Even as a kid I...
That's great to hear. I mean, everyone's entitled to like Elmo and the new characters. But there is an unfortunate tendency to imply that they are better for today's children than the old characters, which I disagree with.
Yeah, I admit I can't read one of Tough Pigs' commentaries without laughing out loud every time (that's why I usually make sure I'm alone!).
Yeah, I would have liked a Rugby toy too. And maybe a Belmont toy. He'd be cute...as long as he doesn't complain too much! Hehe
I saw a Snuffy stuffed animal at a Hallmark store the other day. It was very cute. And Snuffy has great parts in Follow That Bird, Christmas Eve on Sesame Street and Don't Eat the Pictures.
My favorite part of Hey Cinderella! are Jerry and Frank as the two step sisters, they are hilarious. Especially when deciding what present to give to the King. In order to find out what the richest person in the kingdom wants, they ask the poorest person in the kingdom (Cinderella) what she...
Thank you so much, The Christmas Toy was the one I was waiting for!
...Now...can I wait to hear it until December?...hmmm...so hard...lol
Btw, Tough Pigs' commentary on The Christmas Toy is priceless!
As far as I know, Dave performed him in the first season as well. In "Capture the Moon," Boober's probably not present because The World's Oldest has such a big part.
We talked about Richard Hunt's performing style on the RHLC; he would often do a double take or a sort of tilt of the head. After awhile you can pick him out.
I read that about Welcome Back, Kotter as well, in a Nick at Nite guide. I guess that makes sense if the show's recorded "live on tape before a studio audience".
My parents used to have John Denver on when I was a baby too, whenever I was crying too much! I think we had the Rocky Mountain Holiday album as a compromise, John Denver for my dad, Muppets for me, lol. Only, I never listened to it as a child, it was "too boring." Now, I'm the only member of...
Honestly, I always thought Cantus was a Fraggle, just that they took liberties with his appearnce to make him look special and stand out. If they didn't want him to be a Fraggle, they would have made sure he didn't look like one. That's what I think anyway.
