As I said in an earlier post, they are keeping "California Screamin'", the roller coaster, so not everything on the pier is a goner. My guess, and this is only a guess at this point, is that they're basically going to retheme the Pier area. Although, I also think that means that the "off the...
You may have been kidding, but it absolutely is research and you can write it off. I work as a writer in Hollywood and every movie I see is considered research. I have to know what is happening in the marketplace to be able to stay competitive.
Even if you weren't doing adult puppet shows...
It was announced this morning that Disney is pouring $1.1 Billion dollars into remaking California Adventure (Yes, that "billion" with a "b"! More than they spent building the park in the first place.)
Only Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Soarin' Over California are safe. Everything else...
You are not wrong, he was joking. "Pachalafaka" is a made up word and has no other meaning than it is given in the song... [SPOILER ALERT]
Which is none... since that's the punchline.
:p
I disagree that Terry's Fozzie looks too skinny... but even if he is, I'd rather have the head that Terry made than the ugly-shaped one in the picture you posted. I really don't like that Fozzie head.

Irving Taylor was the composer, but not the singer. He wrote other comedy and novelty songs, too, including the Theme Song to F Troop.
Soupy used to use the original recording. Pookie the Lion, a puppet, would come out and "lip sync" to it. After Soupy recorded his own version, he stopped...
Are you sure it wasn't a friend of yours pulling your leg? There's not a single listing on Google for a National Puppet Society or even National Puppeteers Society. There is a Puppeteers of America, but that's a well-known group that's been around over 50 years.
:p
Telly,
I think this is a brilliant idea! After all, they do releases of their other licenses in different versions. And they would have some idea of how many of each to make by the pre-orders!
I doubt that they'll end up doing this, but it's still a brilliant idea.
:p
It was in the newsletter I got yesterday. But all it says is, "Coming soon: The Great Gonzo Photo Puppet Pre-Order!"
There's nothing on the website about it at all. And we all know how much time elapses between the pre-orders and the shipping dates.
