The End of Sesame Street is near?

I know this is probably just a rumor, but this whole thing about people calling him "Veggie Monster." Sounds very Stepford Wives to me...

Why is Dr. Teeth thought of as the Electric Mayhem leader?

I always saw it like this, Dr. Teeth is the official leader of the band, but he's much too easy-going and groovy to go around acting like it most of the time. Floyd, on the other hand, easily gets frustrated when things aren't cool and speaks his mind.

101 Most Influential People Who Never Lived

Well, when she wasn't hanging out in malls, she was a woman who had every job in existence, proving females are capable of anything. Plus, it was just fun as a girl playing with a doll that wasn't a baby, and had clothes and teenger-like accessories.

This will confirm whether or not I am totally insane...

I agree, Pink is great for promoting inner beauty and not being a "stupid girl" as she put it.

101 Most Influential People Who Never Lived

I understand Santa Claus, but St. Nicolas was a real person who lived. Still, interesting list!

    The RHLC!

Sorry, Fragglemuppet, I didn't see your post before. There actually aren't too many Muppeteers in the documentary. It mainly focuses on production people who attempted to put the new shows on the air. All very interesting people. However, Kevin Clash is there for a minute instructing a...

    Fellow Church People

I agree, actions are more important than faith. Saying that, it's important to remember that everyone has their own views. We don't have to agree, but part of being a good person is being respectful of others.

    Fellow Church People

That's a big Christian debate. Some denominations say you can be saved purely by faith and God's good graces alone. But others say you have to do good work in your life in order to be saved. Personally, I agree with the latter, Jesus wouldn't have gone through all the trouble of teaching...

    Fellow Church People

Also, several sources say the phrase "fear of God" does not refer to the emotion of being afraid. But rather honoring God's wishes on how he wants us to act as good people. It's more of a recognition of God's teachings than a fear. This is something the denominations debate often. As I said...

    The RHLC!

Sounds cool, MN! Hope your figure out all the little technical difficulties! Wow, I can't believe CNN mentioned the movie, that's great. And the writer is Frank Zappa's son, that's interesting! I really hope he does a good job (I don't mean that to be rude, I'm just saying). Other than the...

    Fellow Church People

As Muppet Newsgirl says, it really depends on what Church you go to. A lot of Protestant denominations preach the fear of God stuff, while a lot of Catholic churches emphasize the loving God. And Mary is the mother of God, because Jesus is both man and God, being the 2nd being in the Trinity.

Question for "Children of the 50's and 60's"

I don't think Atheism is a problem. You can be an athiest and still be a good person. The problem is that people who are Religious are given such a hard time. We can disagree with each other, but we really do have very little tolerance.

Oh yeah, I love that line. And Elmo's reaction was actually funny too, the way he stares at the camera. Although, I started getting worried about Forgetful by the end when he couldn't even remember they'd played games that day! You know, why didn't someone ever take him to a doctor?? lol

    Am I the only one?

No, this is true. Nearly every 'Chicken Soup' I've ever had was missing one minor thing...the chicken! Although the noodles are always good in Chicken Noodle Soup.

    Scooter, we hardly KNOW YA!

When the Muppets hosted The Tonight Show in the '70s, Kermit and Scooter were having a conversation with Leo Sayer. Kermit was asking Leo how he hides from all his adoring female fans. Scooter pipes in with, "I wear a bag over my head!" Kermit: "For what?" Scooter: "Well, to hide from...
