It does rain a lot in the UK area. But that's why it's always so green there!
Oddest thing: there were virtually no trees in Ireland. Of course, they'd been destroyed many ages ago. But there were several palm trees! I'm not kidding, palm trees. I guess they were transplanted there. I...
Yeah that sounds like a great trip, MN! I really want to see the rest of the world at some point. Although, I'd also like to see the rest of my own country for that matter! lol
That's interesting. Maybe because it comes right after the lovers and dreamers line, and sounds like an extra addition. Like you could get away with not using it and the verse would still sound completed.
That being said, I like that line in the movie. The way they pan down to the water...
See, when I think cocky, I just think being super confident that you're right, getting a bit carried away. Which is a little different from being "full of herself."
Well, as I said before, I didn't see it as an insult to say she was occasionally cocky. Just because someone has a different opinion, doesn't mean they are insulting someone. The world is full of different opinions.
Everyone is cocky sometimes. It's certainly possible to like the character...
Fraggle: Boober Fraggle
Doozer: Turbo Doozer
Gorg: Junior Gorg
Other: Philo and Gunge
Song: "Catch a Tail By the Tiger"
Episode: "Wembley and the Mean Genie" (Though I haven't seen it since the first time I saw it years ago!)
Extra: I really liked the Fraggle who asks for Mokey's...
This a good topic idea! Let's see...
Hey, Jude (because I always need cheering up!)
Fool on the Hill (I too feel misunderstood)
I'll see if I can think of any others.
No, I believe they're more understanding if you weren't born here but lived hear and your parents were from here etc.
The idea behind the rule is so other nations can't try to infiltrate the US by getting a spy into our government. It's a precaution.
Grover called him Max. Because his card read "Maximilian Armor." That's classic Sesame Street. Kids won't understand what that means, but later on when they hear it in the real world, they'll recall the reference and it will make sense.
I love Grover's big scene with the Knights in armor. Perfect Frank Oz!
"Saving dragons from a princess...or the other way around...Hmm.
We will challenge every villian, in the East and in the West, then we'll find a baby birdie and return it to its nest!" Lol
"Follow Me" The definitive Fraggle Rock song.
"Catch a Tail by the Tiger" I love this song. It's so inspirational. And it manages to use the word "capitulate!"
"Whoops! Feelin Better!" (that's my signature)
"Just a Dream Away" (From Gone But Not Forgotten, beautiful song)
It's so interesting! Obviously in the U.S., Christmas is strongly associated with snow and cold weather. You forget it's not like that everywhere.
Easter is associated with flowers, grass and warm weather in America. But I remember going to Ireland during Easter and it was freezing!
Oh that's great! Maybe I'll get it at some point. I'm glad The Little Mermaid is out at all! I used to have a sleeping bag and towel with Ariel and friends.
