I'm reminded of years ago, somehow, a friend supposedly found Ross and Janice's home number, and desperately wanted to call them, but at the same time, she was too afraid too, on the grounds she might disturb them while they're having dinner or something.
Not sure if she ever did call them, or...
All cable cartoons have been that way, even as far back as the 90s, the UK often got to see the new episodes of these cartoons MONTHS before (and in a lot of cases, up to a year) they would ever see the light of day in the US.
Ya know, both Nick and CN have sister channels dedicated mostly to their classic original programming, why can't Disney also have a channel that shows DUCKTALES, BONKERS, TAIL SPIN, QUACK ATTACK!, MICKEY MOUSE WORKS, RECESS, LLOYD IN SPACE, among others?
I see using the word "gay" as an adjective has been brought back to people's attention, so much so that we now actually have PSAs on TV telling us to stop saying, "That's so gay" when describing something, which gets me to thinking... HOW did we end up going towards saying things like that in...
I don't know about sites where you can actually get ahold of voice actors for something like that, but there's a few people on YouTube who are usually willing to do voices for nothing.
I can recommend a great friend of mine, Thomas Ferranti (http://www.youtube.com/RevSpike), he's a pretty good...
There's an art to using a laugh track correctly, and these kidcoms made by Disney and such really don't know how to master it... they figure since kids don't have a well-developed sense of humor that excessive use of a laugh track will make the show seem funnier, when it really only makes matter...
Well, the rules and regulations were different for VHS back then than they are for DVD today, for some reason... y'know, like those old Buena Vista Rocky and Bullwinkle tapes, they don't feature any of the music or title replacements that the DVDs have.
Well, the problem with YouTube is ever since like 2010 or so, Bagdasarian has really cracked down on people posting Chipmunk content of any kind, so it's really difficult, unless you were to try another site like Dailymotion or vimeo.
But Drtooth has said it many times before, there really...
When WGN America aired Rocky and Bullwinkle for a short time here a few years ago, I remember they managed to make a "movie" out of playing the "Wossamotta U." episodes back to back, they just simply removed the opening and closing credits from each episode.
Yes, I'm a FREAKAZOID! guy myself, and all this talk about it and ANIMANIACS and what have you is really making me wanna break out my old tapes and watch them again.
And it's interesting to think that Paul Rugg became a self-taught puppeteer, and performs with Henson Alternative. First time I...
I've heard a very small number complaints about Dr. Vindaloo from COURAGE THE COWARDLY DOG being a negative stereotype, and an even smaller number about Di Lung as well.
The problem is that unwritten rule in television that all series HAVE to include at least ONE ethnic character in the cast, because apparently an all-white cast is seen as offensive and non-inclusive by today's standards... but at the same time, it comes to the point where writers tend to make...
No.
Considering the production values, and the fact that its' 29 minutes long, this is probably a community access show.
BTW, the credits say 2002... it must have been posted on YT in 2008.
I'm pretty sure I posted that a few months ago... it's so funny that it's actually UNINTENTIONALLY racist, but in that it actually is just full-on racist.
Never heard of it, but then again, I've really had no reason to watch Disney Channel in about a hundred years or so.
I haven't even really heard a whole lot of positive things about any of their shows within the last several years or so anyway.
EDIT: Took at look at Disney's official site...
