Well, it's felt... it's kind of give or take.
But I kind of remedies the situation myself... I observed the details of some of my SST and Muppet plushies, and saw some of the rounder noses have four seams in them (except for Bert, he only had one at the bottom), so I cut four darts into the...
That method, yes, I usually do that when fabricating the puppet's foam structure, but I don't really have anything like that to use for the nose, just stuffing; and I've tried adding and taking away stuffing, but the results are pretty much the same, I'm afraid. :smirk:
Could somebody possibly show me an example of what a pattern would look like for the fabrication of a round nose (like Ernie or Grover or characters like that)? I actually tried following the instructions from an old McCall's SST hand puppet pattern, which basically had a pattern for a large...
Yeah, back in the old days on the old forum, we had that three smiley per post limit, so I don't blame people for feeling their oats when it comes to using more than three.
Well, in posts yes, in signatures... eh, maybe not so much, but still...
I found the commercial I was talking about... and apparently, the puppet appears in others as well:
They're funny, but I'm still not a fan of always relying on chromakey for full-bodied effects.
Considering that networks like NBC require too much control and ownership over the actual programming, and considering these network executives come and go all the time and never know for sure what they want - I'm game.
I was disgusted with the turn it took just in the second episode: the very first thing you see is a sex scene... that's ALL you see on TV anymore.
It's CBS, they ALWAYS milk their shows for waaaaay more than they're worth.
I think the weather is a month late of something: it's been raining an awful lot this past week or so... it's like April Showers was delayed until May or something.
It's RULLY disturbing some of the shows featuring old people that are on TV these days...
Ashton Kutcher's apparently producing a reality show for TV Land about old ladies dressing like twentysomething hookers.
I honestly didn't understand why they renewed WHITNEY for a second season anyway, nobody had anything positive to say about the first season, everybody claimed it was a female SEINFELD wanna be.
And weren't they supposed to cancel COMMUNITY too? I thought I heard they were ending it.
Has ANYBODY heard ANYTHING about Dr. Loretta Long's book? It's been, what, three or four years since some of us (including myself) submitted our "Susan Stories" to be included in her book?
Or "How Do You Do?" with Grover.
I also remember the episode of SANFORD AND SON where Fred made a bet with his buddies that he could get her to drop by their house, so he snuck into her dressing room while she was appearing on a local NBC show, and got her to drop by by convincing her that...
