I despise my local MeTV affiliate. They just have to dump a bunch of infomercials as early as 10 PM, so I miss out on Cheers.
Also, I hate how the entire daytime line up is Cowboy shows, and Get Smart is dumped at 1 AM on Saturdays. I can always go out and buy the Get Smart series on DVD...
Yeah... remember the episode of Powerpuff Girls where trying to make more of themselves because the super heroic workload was too great, then they put in the wrong ingredients and it became a hunchbacked mutated giant thing?
Looks like the Powerpuff Girls tried to make Kermit this time.
All and all, it's a safety thing. There's always a fear that some little kid too young to have toys that actually say they're too young on the label will wind up choking on one thing or another, so cloth eyes seem like the safest bet there. They don't detach easily. Actually, plastic ones...
(UGH... hate double posting)...
So anyone else see Nemo's rerelease this weekend? I loved seeing it again, and the new Toy Story short was fun (and they just so happen to have the Partysaurus Rex playset at Target that very weekend). But there's one thing that really bugged me. I stayed to...
Kermit, or no Kermit, they refer to the Sesame Street characters as Muppets anyway, and have to have the copyright info. So we'll probably see it on the upcoming season before we see this DVD release.
But I hope there's a good amount of Kermit on this release anyway.
There's a VERY large unavoidably crass one in one of the television spots. I sadly can live with it. I just wish they didn't.
Adam Sandler I can live with. His Dracula sounds funny enough. Seems like they're going with Sony stock actors. And I gotta admit, this one of the first Sony films I...
As far as classic cuts go, I really hope they do put a Deena and Pearl on there. They seem to be completely lost, and SW hasn't posted any of them on Youtube or their own web site, and no one has any footage of them anywhere.
But I'd really like to see (highly unlikely) street scenes...
The more I think about it, the less I think it is about stupidity and the more it is about companies covering their butts from potential frivolous lawsuits. Most of these are actually urban legends, but there are some that actually were pretty serious cases that just looked idiotic.
We can...
Knowing how we treat cartoons in Europe, they're probably going to animate the thing in English, then dub it. Only cartoons made for specific European countries are done in their native language and dubbed in English later.
I reported him at least twice. I was hoping to at least see a slap on the wrist or something, but he continues to drudge up posts and write 2 word responses that add nothing to a conversation. He does it almost monthly. I don't want to ask for a ban, but if that's what it takes, than that's...
All the big stores are crap for the same reason, but we shop there anyway. That's just how it is. Personally, I hate when there's that one cereal that's impossible to find everywhere but one store where it costs a fortune. Wal*Mart is the only place besides Shaws (which charged a fortune for...
The big boxes are cheaper and you get more, but you get tired of them faster.
Plus, cereal does last long enough... if you follow the ridiculously small serving sizes.
Personally, I like that General Mills still puts prizes in their cereals occasionally. Unfortunately it's not occasionally...
And I, for one, am thankful for that. I cannot stand huge boxes of cereal that I have to eat for a month on end. I can't stand eating the same thing over and over. I prefer small boxes.
Man... it used to be all over Youtube until one of the international home video distributors that released ONE DVD that's completely out of print anyway blew a gasket. It was a series where Gadget was promoted to Lieutenant, Penny was an early teenager and even more scientifically inclined, and...
I'm glad JHC is actually getting something into production.
I just hope this isn't a Gadget and the Gadgetinis situation where the US will never get the darn thing. As long as it's as well done as Henson's other CGI shows, this should be good. If they're looking to end Sid the Science Kid...
Yeah. it's a crappy, sneaky thing they do to avoid raising the price of food items to shrink the package. They do it a LOT with dairy products, especially Yogurt. You can barely get a spoon in those things anymore. I wouldn't mind paying the extra 10 cents if they kept the freaking thing the...
I'm surprised that Sesame Street hasn't had any Youtube previews other than the compilation yet... but I guess they've decided to be a little smarter with that stuff since the Katy Perry thing.
