I'm really happy that 2 of them were Muppets. I will say they went out of their way to hide the Muppets being puppets, but the fact they basically out and out said ALF was a puppet made me cringe a little. Especially since I hear Paul Fusco goes completely out of his way to hide that fact...
That's why anytime they use a website on a TV show, the network has to buy up the domain name before it airs or someone else will and put either inappropriate or dangerous content on it. People who are web savvy enough know this. You must ALWAYS check the web address and make sure that it ends...
Yeah. That's the Simpsons paradox for you. Arthur has it.
But you didn't mention the worst thing. The Woogles. The episode where they first appeared, they just came out, Arthur was in third grade and they were in. Fast Forward to the Great Sock Mystery (or whatever it's called), and Mr...
Other than Ren's weird expression, I'd definitely pick them both up. I guess his face goes with the Happy Helmet.
The picture of Dick Dasdardly's not coming in... could you re-enter it?
The story goes that some idiot typed in the wrong web address and thought that it was a gay marriage initiative instead of a "Don't be mean to people of other races" initiative. Which only goes to show the importance of differentiating between dot coms, dot nets, and dot orgs. Type in the...
You know parental groups. Left, right or whatever, they're a menace. Even if they have the best of intentions, it's all about forcing their exact views onto other parents and their children, when we all know every child is different. They don't realize they cause more harm than good. But...
Ah, man... where to start about the CW...
UPN had a few good shows, The WB had a few good shows. Together as a network, they have nothing. Anytime they even have a good show, they can't wait to find a way to get rid of it for some lame copycat series that no one watches... uh... Oh. They...
Except that John Stamos is the only one that wants to do it. Really. He even planned one himself (theatrically, no less), but no one was interested. Worst part is... well..
I really hope that was Wikipedia being Wikipedia again. Sounds terrible, and I doubt Steve Carell would want to do...
You mentioned that before, and I don't want to get into that discussion. But it shows how incredibly hateful, selfish, imbecilic, and Neitzschian those groups are. They feel everything is brainwashing kids, and that's their job.
But we don't get kid's pledges, and we're a blue state. We're...
PBS is always pulling that crap. I still loom back at season 14 and 15 of Arthur with disgust. Internationally, the show aired all 20 episodes one after another. It took 2 years for us to get them all, 5 in the fall, 5 in the Spring.
It's a pathetic attempt to stretch out the small number of...
I'll echo the sentiment from this Youtube Poster...
Song was kinda catchy, not really my thing... but Fraggles, man.... It's so wonderful to see all 6 of them together again. Yep. We have all 6 main Muppets made... let's do more with them, Henson.
And that BTS stuff... Red is once again...
Yeah, I'm disappointed it didn't even get the dumped in winter vacation months their other 3 TV cartoon based movies (Teacher's Pet, Recess:School's Out, and Doug's First Movie... which was going to be a DTV project until Disney found out how much money the Rugrats film made).
I don't know how...
I hope they clear up the legal snafu about Dr. Wily by the time the film comes out. I think Capcom only licensed out the Street Fighter characters, and Disney thought it could have free range over their other properties... I dunno... but it's not a deal breaker by any means.
Yeah, the new...
There's gotta be a better cost cutting device than repeating episodes. Even if they did clip show story openers with linking footage. Repeating episodes wouldn't be so terrible if they didn't repeat things to oblivion in the first place. I understand the need to cut costs, but half the pickle...
Yeah... this is going to be the season I'm going to stop watching.
Repeated story segments in the lousy 26 episodes (basically leaving only 21 episodes)? And it takes until freaking APRIL to show them? How much money did they lose for that to happen?
The auto embed is the only thing I'd complain about since, well... sometimes it's just easier to make a joke that ends on a link than an embed...
but I really don't see the need to ban the practice outright. If anything, embedding videos is actually quicker, as you don't need to completely...
They'll probably include a "Kermit is property" thing too, but I've noticed they continuously credit Disney's ownership just for the mere mention of the word Muppet.
Sigh...
I wish Henson had that luxury. I guess it was made special for Not For Profit Sesame Workshop.
