D'oh... I had the wool pulled over my eyes. I can't believe I actually fell for thinking this would be a permanent change made by YT; I should have known it would only be for one day.
Well, back to constantly turning off AdFender, refreshing the homepage, clicking Close Ad to get rid of the...
Tsk.
I get they're a non-profit organization, and need to bring proceeds one way or another, but to do so through YouTube, and I'm sure Google is getting a big fat percentage off this... they just seem to keep lowering their standards as of late.
Oh, please Amanda Bynes, please...
You already ruined your acting career, you've already tarnished your image... please don't humiliate yourself even further with trying to launch a rap career...
Actually, I just learned a couple of things I didn't know before, but they kind of make sense...
1. The reason why YouTube was sold to Google in the first place was pretty much our (as in the users') fault: apparently the guys who created YouTube were displeased with people using it to upload...
Apparently I did it again, this time with one of my favorite Counting Crows songs (it was actually other covers that made me realize it): "Big Yellow Taxi"
Correct: "They paved paradise, and put up a parking lot."
Misheard: "The day paradise put up a parking lot."
That's an interesting question... I would assume there's an equivilant in Japan for them, or maybe Toontown has various different little boroughs like in the real world, like China Town or something.
My next question is, with some exceptions, how and why is it that British singers sing with...
I can't believe it... YT actually did something smart for a change! They separated Closed Ad from the large homepage ad into it's own tab below it... now I no longer have to keep turning off AdFender, refreshing the homepage, closing the ad to get rid of the large white blank space where the ad...
Uh... WHAT is THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE doing... on Nick JR?
EDIT: Okay, apparently, Nick Jr. has a late-night programming block targeted at moms.
Oh, tell me about it. That's pretty much one of my only two complaints with the Rocko DVDs, is that they put the episodes in original broadcast order... well, Nick didn't originally broadcast them in order (they did in reruns though), so like on the Season One DVD has the seventh episode first...
Ah. Yeah, that makes a bit more sense.
Actually, not only that, but Nick itself canceled the show before the last couple of episodes or so even aired (then again, they did the same to CATDOG), and it wasn't until like three years later on the Nicktoons network that we saw those unaired episodes.
If ratings are the lifeblood of a TV series, and low and poor ratings is what leads to a show's cancelation, then WHY, in Heaven's name, WHY is HOT IN CLEVELAND STILL on the air when NOBODY likes or watches that show? I mean, if a show like THAT can get by simply on one fraction of an audience...
