It was done better in the first movie, when it was part of various other intersecting plots. The CGI special was okay, but it was hardly in the same caliber.
There's supposed to be a Fleischer influence, and I wonder if that means they're doing a story book type plot. I kinda hope they don't...
I miss when they didn't hammer a single subject into kids as part of an initiative due to failures in our education system. Sesame Street always had a buffet style of topics, an would always touch on a little bit of everything in a single episode. It's gotten better so far this season (out of...
One of them was supposedly in the pipeline, I think it was the Hawaiian one, and it was said that Buffy signed a release to have her appearances on the DVD. But then that was just before Genius went bankrupt, and they didn't carry it over to Warner Bros.
They aren't.
These are sold in the housewares section with the kiddy plates. I saw a Kermit plate, and Animal Bowl and that water bottle. I kinda like the bowl, actually... but Animal is at the bottom of it, not along the sides. And it's kinda small too. But the plate really looks good.
It's just as well. Even if they took to continuously rerunning the shows, they'd find a way to screw it up. Editing, showing half the episodes over and over... I like seeing things rerun, sure... but the way that it's usually done is always disappointing.
You forgot the dreadful surfing penguin movie. And Arthur Christmas was Aardman, and released by Sony. We all know well that I have a rampant dislike of this studio, and meh to lame CGI movies are all they really can do. I'm not a huge fan of third party CGI animation studios, and I drilled...
At least he wasn't in drag and playing his own sister. It's hard to find the annoying point of someone who's based his career on being annoying. I did like the "I don't say 'bleh'" gags, though.
I really think Steve Buschemi's Wolfman disappeared for most of the film. That's the real shame...
You realize, of course, the exceedingly miniscule amount of money tax payer money (which works out to barely a cent a person) that's related to Sesame Street isn't to produce the show, but rather to have the money for PBS to purchase episodes. Most of it is funded by contributions and sponsors...
That one keeps getting renewed. There's something that's supposed to come up in 2013. It's just an untitled project title so far.
I don't know what to think about the cel shading, but it does look like regular animation if you squint hard enough. But I doubt we'll see it in the US...
I felt it was good for what it was, and considering it was Sony, it was alright. I just wish the Wolfman had more lines. Sandler didn't bug me in this film. Probably the best thing he did since his appearance on Sesame Street... but that really doesn't say much.
It was decent, and I'm too big...
I watched another episode and I noticed something about the turtle designs. This makes me love them...
You see, the characters are designed in such a way, they reference past incarnations...
Raph has a very pointy, angular head... it seems to be based off of the 2k3 design.
Leo's head is...
I'm sorry, but that's kind of insulting to call that "Dumbest." It's their wedding, they clearly like fun stuff, and if you think about it, the ceremonial clothes that we imposed to have to wear on a wedding day is just as ridiculous, if not more. Look at how ridiculous wedding dresses are, if...
I'm going to have to wait on it... but I just cannot resist stop motion animation in any form. Three stop motion films in a year, in an industry dominated by CGI. That's one of the best things that's ever happened in a long time.
There was a conversation about it in another thread. There was quite a bit of pressure somewhere, either from his own company or the studios, to basically copy what Disney was doing at the time. Princess films. it seems like Titan A.E. was supposed to break away from that and give him the big...
Actually, there's an even bigger outrage I need to vent about.
Cookie Jar (the lame production company that owns DIC) is trying to shove Doodlebops down everyone's throats again. They put that show both on CBS's pathetic Saturday Morning line up and This TV's line up.
Okay, these guys weren't...
We know the reason why, but for those of you that missed last night's surprise performance, here it is:

Caroll really took a moral high ground, and I applaud him for it.
However, if there's one image that I'm never going...
The dumbest thing the Democrats did was not let the Republicans get rid of the Filibuster. Mainly because it would have come back to bite them on the butt, considering they made quite a use of it for the party that wanted to do away with it.
And to get this perfectly clear, I'm not stabbing at...
Unless you followed the comics.
The comics had a much, much happier ending. The Tanners manage to bamboozle the Alien Task Force with their pet dog (that only existed in the comic, and near the end of the run, too), and having them report back looking like fools, they'd never be able to bother...
That's the problem exactly. Yet, the whole PBS is liberal stuff is a myth. I see Washington round table discussions all the time, and they all have Republican commentators. Regular, recurring ones I forget the names of (Pat Buchanan on The MacLaughlin Group is the only one I can remember)...
