A certain internet company came up with Sexy Sesame Street costumes again.
Here's an example:
Apparently, according to Muppet Wiki Sesame Street gave them a cease and desist letter and these things won't be sold any longer.
Nice to see Sesame Street is putting its foot down on something...
Sweet! I was expecting poser pictures with Christmas Hats or something. That's some very nice artwork there. I'm going to pick that up as soon as I can find it.
They'll probably get more in. When I got my Muppet set, it was one of the last 3. A month later, they had over a dozen.
But I only see Crash toys if the series really takes off. I've noticed they stopped marketing their live action shows. I guess they were hurting when no one was buying...
I don't see them using anything earlier than the mid-90's. It's not like they don't exist online, I don't see why they can't, but I just don't see them doing that.
You can tell this is from a couple seasons back because of Horatio. Seems like they finally put that character to rest when Murray came on the scene. Still, you wonder why this episode was held back for 2 seasons. I guess it was because they felt they needed to make that Food for thought PSa...
Walter has a very Sesame Street look to him. He is Muppety, just not Muppet show Muppety... but then again, neither is Mary Louise. Crash is similar to Walter, but looks a lot more like a Sesame Street AM than Walter does. I really like the look of Crash as a puppet.
Disney, especially the...
Anyone else pull their hair out when they hear people refer to the puppeteers as "the voice of?" We ALL know they do a lot more than just do a voice. Kinda sounds almost demeaning, if you ask me. Not that there aren't cases where someone just does the voice, but for the most part Puppeteering...
It's a company that doesn't really announce much on Comic sites unless they're announcing a new product line. There hasn't even been any artists or editors mention the project, or even pop into this message board like Boom and Archaia did when they had their comics. I hope it isn't dead in the...
I've been on the dying Saturday Morning Soapbox for years. Saban really gave a huge turn around to CW's programing line up (though I don't see why Sonic X still has to be part of it. It's been on uninterrupted for at least 7 years. Time to give it a rest). They're airing a Tiny Toons Special...
It probably would have been all over the place if the Johnny Depp/Tim Burton movie did well. If there's one thing I hate, it's when the movie kills the franchise. That's why it took so long for Bullwinkle to hit DVD, and why Inspector Gadget never got to enjoy the comeback most 80's cartoons did.
Indeed Sesame Street is intended for both parents and children. It's skewed more towards trying to get parents more involved in the show with celebrities and parodies as of late, but it was always the intention. Most PBS shows are shockingly well done and have a massive adult fanbase because...
You do bring up some good points, and I can usually sympathize someone who likes something everyone else hates (I actually liked Jar Jar).
But the thing is, Barney is welcome to his own kind of show... Someone at SW decided they needed to absorb the competition, and the show went on a wild...
The next episode is on tomorrow for some reason (I double checked the WGBH schedule). I have to ask. This episode was filmed during the season 41. Was there a specific reason why this was held over for 2 years? Was it because of one of the initiative videos was fashioned into an episode or...
And then she gets stage fright too.
I can't find that list you made, but I'm sure it's on there. Of course, Arthur using old cliches is a matter of fleeting demographic and basically being on the air for 16 years.
That's more than I'd bother. I watched the promo and actually wanted to see it up until the Puppet farts at the end.
I'm glad they're trying with other puppet venues, but if we're getting an extreme 'tude show for 10 year olds, count me out. I'd rather see the Muppet viral videos start up...
