Sorry, i meant Johnny Fiama as the regular carded figure with Sal as his pack-in monkey. Johnny is average height but fairly slim. Sal would be quite smaller and as a full body character would probably slouch a bit. I don't see it being that different from having a Mahna Mahna with two Snowth...
It is pretty cool that from the initial thinking it could possibly be done - it's come up at the Palisades forum whether they can do Johnny & Sal like it as well so that those come as a two-pack in the regular line. I really don't feel they are strong enough characters to sell well seperately...
I'm not so sure we'll see 'Time Travel', i don't think it's a movie that they absolutely have to do something with, and it doesn't seem to fit in with the new style. 'Haunted' does seem to be one of those that could work with the right script. I agree totally about bringing Clueless back in...
.... the last one, but that shows a devoted fan !
Henson can't just start allowing a company to use their other licenses for free, they are all legally seperate creative properties. I think if they did it for one, others would demand it too. To do 'World Of Henson' Palisades would need to...
I don't think we'll see two TV movies this year, they might shoot them this year but i would guess we'll see the Halloween Movie in October and then another one sometime Easter/Summer 2004. I also think that unless they are shooting the movies together then the third project will still be...
It was mentioned here a few days ago too, great news. I hope it's well visited so that they can continue to do more with Faracape. Not sure it was the Muppetfest Live that led to the NBC deal - i think that was just fan speculation.
Yeah but Ken saying he hadn't really thought about it also means it isn't on the Palisades radar either. That means things like Lips, Marvin Suggs and a Gonzo/Rizzo MTI Two Pack would be made before Mahna Mahna would be considered. So chances are, even if possible we won't be seeing it next...
Yeah i'm really more with Warrick on this one, i just wouldn't want anything new production wise at all. Something for a DVD, or a live appearance would be fine but otherwise i don't think the original should be touched in any way. Fraggle is too special for that, and as Phil said, Fraggle...
I agree with Nate. Counts actually just brought this topic up in 'Ask Palisades' at their forum too.
I thought about the idea of doing a single carded Mahna Mahna and then a single carded Snowth. It'd be crazy though to have two really obscure figures like this in a single wave, and...
They might answer what color panties Mokey wore in the Fraggle Rock pilot but the only thing they'll give you on current strategy is the official line that they are currently exploring the possibility of new Muppet TV shows and will anounce things when they know more.
The last official thing we heard (mid-2002) on the Fox show was that Team Todd didn't have a final concept nor a target date yet, but we would most likely see it in 2003. (which is crap, they are obviously way behind schedule). It was also officially said that it was a weekly prime time...
Yeah it was in another thread. The term they use is 'fizzled out' i think. Very good sources said that the Fox show had been greenlighted for 13 eps around last January time but really not hearing the right kinda things we would be usually hearing at these times. Hope they were just referring...
