The first movie was all on the terrible first director. It shouldn't have been that much worse than the source material, but... I dunno. I'm no expert on the films or the books since I dislike the concepts behind them and those films overall. But even fans say the first movie was terrible and...
My concern isn't the food, my concern lies with the thousands of people now out of work because stupid entitled greedy morons are stupid entitled greedy morons. There's never any backlash against CEO's and terrible business decisions, and we have learned nothing from Enron.
That said, it's...
Snickers... those had less to do with religion and more to do with the Ten Commandments movie at the time. Those were basically publicity stuts to gather interest in the movie.
I'd feel sorry if Christian Rock wasn't terrible. Gospel music can be very catchy, and have a wonderful harmonious...
Even funnier when you realize that "Natural Flavor" is the most meaningless buzzword in the food industry. It could mean anything. Most chemicals are found in nature too, not to mention "Natural Flavor" tends to mean "chemical cocktail that barely tastes like the flavor we're representing."
At this point, Twilight's only audience are people who swear that they're there to make fun of it.
Well... I guess liking a movie ironically is better than watching Honey Boo Boo ironically. Plus, MST3K and Rifftraxx... watching movies ironically has become an artform.
Though, again, I said...
If it's not Lucas himself, it's surely all those around him. TV Tropes points this out:
Canon Immigrant:
Yes, that's still really Chewbacca's family. However the official canon sources, trying desperately to put a positive spin on things, turn the names given here into nicknames, along the...
There is yet to be confirmation, but the company will be sold and I'm sure they'll continue to produce these things once everything is settled.
But, you might like to know that the first time they filed for bankruptcy back in 2004 or so, the CEO's cut their employees pay and benefits to save...
I don't see too many things appealing to an adult, either.
That's another thing. Christmas Countdown was very juvenile, but at least it's supposed to play to juveniles. Anne Murray coming on to Big Bird? I don't think anyone wants to see that, kid or adult. This was a complete misfire...
And all that stuff is canon! And it still has a better understanding of the source material than Sesame Street Christmas. The only thing they got right was Oscar being grouchy.
It has that same celeb over Muppet shortcoming that Very Special had, and the unfortunate tone that seems heavily...
The fact that they're brave enough to do the Nativity story in a kid's show and make it work (sorry, Animaniacs... it would have been so much funnier if you spent the short harassing King Harrod) makes it more than just an Elmo's World extended episode to me. Though I hate how all the Hanukkah...
Actually, I'm more excited to watch the one where Pinkie clones herself.
Epic... traditional... you know what ones I like (and it should be very obvious)? Any episode where one of the cute little girl's cartoon characters loses their crap and descends into madness. Complete with Ren and...
I put it here multiple times. VMX suffers being a parody film throughout (yet being better than actual parody movies), and the depressing portions are all based on the fact that the movie it was parodying the most was depressing itself. I find it fun, yet dated, but the refreshing part was...
I'd love to see a Spinoff Buzz Lightyear of Star command Movie, but there's no doubt they'd toss the continuity of the cartoon series out the window. Seriously, X.R. would be awesome as a CGI character. other than that, only shorts, TV specials, and comic books would be able to hold side...
The balloon was too old anyway. They needed to make a new one. I'd say that they'd have a Homer this time around if they considered it, because the Bart balloon came out at the beginning of the series where Bart was the most famous one.
I really hope it is. brand recognition is one thing, but the story should start out fresh, with C3-PO and R2-D2 continuing on their journey. I'd want to see a current Darth Vader as much as I'd want to see a film about Jaxxon.
And the fact TRU can charge whatever the heck it wants to half the time. I know of one that raises prices for no reason every other month.
And they should have. I'm just saying. Arrogance lead to the downfall. Jobs could have been saved, it was inevitable that Wonderbread was going under.
Fully agreed. Small stories can be told in the form of movie shorts and comic books, but 90 minutes of character development? There's nothing left except them breaking and decaying and ending up in the dump for good. That's not exactly going to be a happy movie. Yet, it would fit in...
