I don't know if that works, though. Those that have tried it still haven't been released yet.
I feel sympathy for Fozzie when he's being heckled by Statler and Waldorf, or when he tries desperately to be hip and show he's got rhythm. I feel little to no sympathy for him, however, when he picks his nose for a cheap laugh.
In the Don Knotts episode, Gorgon is a chorus girl sharing a dressing room with the guest star, who is not pleased.
Scooter: Didn't they tell you about her?
Don Knotts: HER????
Gorgon Heap: (Very deep Jerry Nelson voice) What'sa matter sweety? You don't like chorus girls...
Do we have to limit it to the Muppet show?
Because on Ed Sullivan and related appearances, Kermit was eaten by a Gorgon Heap-esque looking monster in the original version of the skit in #28 Rich Little.
Kermit was also eaten by a piano in an Ed Sullivan sketch, after he played music to...
The wild hair and the glasses are put on the Fat Blue AM to look like Christopher Cerf, well, rather exaggeratedly. This running gag was also used in the "Frazzle" song. One of the background monsters, a fur-covered Fat Blue with two teeth, has similar wild blonde hair and glasses. His voice is...
I see. Thank you. Anthony Daniels must be very, very thin to fit into that costume. So thin, in fact, it's why I thought C3PO was being operated while Daniels was off camera.

Which one of us is right? Even if...
It seems that the Muppets were a good place for banjos to be used, not only with Kermit in The Muppet Movie, but in things like the country bands, like in "Mississippi Mud".
Not really Sesame, but I want to share this:
The first episode of the Muppet Show I ever saw on CBS was with Rita Moreno. (Maybe that was the first one broadcast in the US, even if it wasn't the first in rotation?) After Kermit's intro song, Rita appeared in a dress without shoulder straps...
If the Muppets had they're own version of Cheers,

Splurge: Hey everybody.
ALL: SPLURGE!
Kermit (at bar): Hey, Splurge, what do you say to a glass of radish juice?
Splurge: Not much, it doesn't last long enough when I'm around.

Am I still a Junior Member?
This is the post, la-la-la-la, Splurge's post.
La-la-la-la, la-la-la-la, Splurge's post.
Splurge loves his radish,
his radish too,
(breaks holes in the wall which form the segment title)
That's SPLUR-GE'S WORLD!
