    Where is sesame street located?

Sesame Street is shot (the Muppets and street sequences, anyway) in New York City. The studio is Kaufman Studios in Astoria, Queens, the same studio which provided space for both "The Cosby Show" and even later, "Cosby".

    Where is sesame street located?

The new guy in the bird suit is called Matt Vogel. Just remember, folks, Vogel is German for "bird".

    Question: Pepe commercial

What happened to the video of the commercial with Pepe on a "dating ad" that was once on Henson.com? I can't seem to find it. Is was once on Henson.com, correct?

    Who remembers Grouchytown?

I originally posted this about a year ago, but new members are always showing up, etc. We all know about Grouchland, of course. Been there, done that. But about decade before Grouchland there were episodes about Grouchytown, I think a two-part series at least. They were so hilarious, the kind...

Was Dave Goelz in these SST sketches?

Here's a question for someone in the know (or someone who may not be in the know but just have a big opinion). I know Dave Goelz appeared in the more recent sketches - Elephant Elevator Operator, and from what I remember from Jerry Nelson or Rick Lyon is that he came when the Muppeteers were...

    Play With Me Sesame re-runs

Is Eric Jacobson still performing both Bert and Grover? Because there are many scenes with them together, and it doesn't sound like one is obviously looped.

    Voices

So that explains where his beard was when he played the butler in Muppet Treasure Island! Oh, wait, he wasn't asleep then. Think about the number of Muppeteers who have beards and/or long hair, Jim Henson, Frank Oz, Jerry Nelson, Caroll Spinney, Dave Goelz, Jerry Juhl.... is it a staff...

    Play With Me Sesame re-runs

I finally caught one of those episodes when visiting someone with Noggin recently. I liked the show and the classic skits, some of which go back pretty far. One in particular, Grover helping "old Herry looking for the triangle." Have the skits gone as far back as the first season in 1969?

    Sympathy for Fozzie

Personally, I'm not sure I would like it if he got more thick skinned. I'm not sure I would enjoy him when he would react when being treated hostile by the audience.

Question regarding the "Sesame Street" A&E Biography...

I don't recall a "celebrity reel" this time around, although that doesn't mean much since I don't have the special playing in front of me. Two celebrities that spring to mind, though, is: James Earl Jones: clips of him reciting the alphabet. Al Roker: appearing with Kermit the Frog...

The evolution of Bert & Ernie

I'm pretty sure that in the Rainstorm episode, the Bert and Ernie clips are inserts from Season 2.

National Day of Puppetry April 27th

Re: National Day of Puppetry Someone in Congress may want to propose making this a federal paid holiday. Even though it would most likely not pass, it would make C-SPAN more fun to watch that day.

    Fozzie and Perl language.

Just thought I'd share this. The tech people here may understand me more, but I'm sure everyone will find this fun. I'm trying to learn Perl for writing CGI scripts and among the first things I'm learning is the print command with the here document. At this point, I keep thinking of this...

    "Eatings" on The Muppet Show

And without his ticket stub. Some people are so inconsiderate.... Also does this count, since we didn't see eating happen: #? Florence Henderson In Vet's Hospital, Behemoth has a FROG in his throat! Kermit: Very funny, see if this dumb doctor's sketch ever gets on this show again.
