    Wembly is a WOMAN?

Muppets Take Manhattan has a few different language audio tracks. I can't remember which language it was but in one of them Janice is clearly played by a man. Yes I know, American Janice is played by a man too, but this foreign Janice was clearly not made to sound anything like a woman! Lol, I...

    Fun, Fun, Fun for Everyone

I got Trillian. I made the mistake of seeing the Hitchhikers movie before I read the book. I say mistake because I really hated the movie, lol. But I'm told by everyone that the book is great. Now I'm afraid if I read the book, all I'll think of is the movie! Cookie-Brownie Sundae, yum! My...

    Something Amusing I've Been Wondering...

Really? Lol that's great! I never thought of that before.

All right,I'm NOT trying to toss hints here.....

I do think the one thread is a good idea. I don't want to sound cynical, but you can be a great member and still never get a thread for yourself, it doesn't always work that way. Like senior superlatives in High School ("Most Likely to..." etc.). At least in my High School, the same people won...

    The RHLC!

Another entry I liked was David's, "Richard Hunt raised me. He was an old friend I saw every day of my life, in some form." You know I've always had different interests that I've really gotten into. But it struck me one day, I've enjoyed his work since I was a child, I mean very young. That's...

Btw, hi again Beau, it's always nice to have visitors! ;) Oh yeah if I'd gotten such a call...WOW. lol I mean those kind of things just don't happen! Yeah Josh's article is cute too. I saw that episode recently and immediately thought of that. I almost wish I'd known who he was when he died...

All right,I'm NOT trying to toss hints here.....

I totally understand what you mean. The threads are nice gestures for nice members. And it's hardly the end of the world if you don't get one, lol. I guess my worries came from working with kids and dealing with such things (not that I'm comparing any one here to little kids hehe). They start...

Disney really getting ready to use the Muppets to help teach kids about...

I thought MFS was a bit of an attempt to be hip and relevant as well, and that was before Disney. Attempts like that just don't tend to be very well received (no offence to anyone who did like the film). But again, I don't place blame on anyone, it's hard to recreate something so good. I...

Fraggle Season 3 arrives September 11

Maybe, or at least it might outline the plans they have if any.

All right,I'm NOT trying to toss hints here.....

That is a nice idea, Beau! I had been a little concerned about the threads too. No one was trying to be mean, but that's often how cliques and bad feelings come about.

    The RHLC!

The MC tribute page is where I first really learned about him, so I read the whole thing ages ago. It's not really all that sad, more of a celebration. It really ended up being the perfect introduction in my opinion. It covers his unique sense of humor and eagerness to teach co workers and reach...

    Red and Gobo

I don't know, they remind me of the couple from Moonlighting. They fight so much because there is a hint of romantic possibility there.

Disney really getting ready to use the Muppets to help teach kids about...

To be honest, I'll be happy if they do something great. You never know what can happen. But if it never happens again, that's OK too. I'm just grateful they happened at all in the first place. These things can't be easily repeated. :)

Disney really getting ready to use the Muppets to help teach kids about...

I do agree with some of that. And of course you can do whatever you want. :) But I'll stick around. If I don't, I won't even have a place to discuss the things I do enjoy about The Muppets. You can't let the worrisome parts get in the way of enjoying the good stuff. :)

    Puppets who have changed.

My favorite Rowlf is actually the one from the '60s, when he was a bit cuter, in a doggy-like way. :sympathy: lol

Disney really getting ready to use the Muppets to help teach kids about...

Well JHH was sort of intended to be educational, it tried to introduce and explain various systems and methods associated with making television.
