I know it's on one of the Shalom Sesame videos: "Journey to Secret Places", I think. It's goes from English, switches to dubbed in Hebrew and goes back & forth.
I guess the subject title says it all. Really, what is this show "Open Sesame" of which I've heard about - I guess it was outside USA?
It's not the same as Sesame English, is it?
Grannie Fannie Nesselrode, as already noted appeared in "Here is Your Life". Going by this appearance, she is made from the same large lavendar AM with live hands (used for Mumford, Count, etc.)
This is the only skit I remember her being in, but she very well could have been in others. Maybe...
Yeah, there was one small pink AM monster which looked like the monster that appeared with Herry & Grover in another skit: "One, two, three monsters."
This monster, like a lot of background monsters, looks like a regular Anything Muppet like Fat Blue, Tall Orange, etc, just with monster fur...
Cool!
Yeah, it looks like they had a really difficult time dubbing that Mahna Mahna clip. :D
I'd be interested to know what was being said, although it looks like a 30 year Sesamstrasse retrospective.
----
Thinks: A Mahna Mahna smiley.... that's what's been missing in the world.
Two others spring to mind:
-There was (furry nosed) Herry wanting to play the Imagination Game with Little Bird, but his growling scares her (him?) away.
-Herry, a pink monster AM (probably Fran B.) and Grover keep running around to a drum solo and then count themselves

Note that Grover is on the cover.
And what's Biff doing with five fingers, anyway? Usually he has four.
---------
Yes I know, there a few other live-handed Muppets with 5 fingers, I'm just joking around. ;)
Just to make sure, these differences are in audio recordings, not video, correct?
Someone once posted a recording of Grover and one of the Dutch characters, I think it was a mouse, singing "Up and Down".
Re: Reply
I'll try not to get too much off topic, but episodes in the first season, Caroll would often play background Anything Muppets along with Jim and Frank. In the first episode he played a purple AM which became the "mother" of a family being constructed by Gordon. This was a time I...
It looked like Fred Rogers and Caroll Spinney had a naturally good working relationship.
Personal side note: in the few times that Caroll played female AM's, I always thought he sounded like Lady Elaine Fairchild. :)
Which birthday song isn't in the public domain? Do you mean "Happy Birthday to You", the song that people try to harmonize?
Or are you speaking of the Beatles' "Happy Birthday" song?
