I ordered it online from a "movie replicas" specialist that turned out to be in Canada. The replica itself cost $190, shipping was $100 and I had to pay import tax when it got here. It was worth it tho. :)
To be honest, if the next replica looks as good as the Kermit one, I will be desperately trying to get the money together to buy it, whatever the cost. :halo:
Ordering directly from the US (or Canada as I did) means that, even if you get one for a good price, they sting you with the customs fee when they deliver it. It costs around $100 for parcel post (4-8 weeks deilvery) from your average US suplier. If you can get one from Forbidden Planet or...
Imagine how big the Fozzie replica would be. He must be more than twice the size of Kermit in height and width. lol. I dread the think of the shipping cost to the UK for him.
I think the hair is okay, it's just a little too neat. If it was messy-er and a little more crazy it would be fine. Animal's nose definitely needs to be bigger. The original Animal's nose starts just inbetween the eyes and hangs in a teardrop shape.
I've attempted a photograph of my Kermit replica. I only have the camera on my mobile phone at the moment so the quality isn't great.

The best thing to do, if you do want to use Myspace to keep in contact with friends, just be on the look out for all the weirdos on there. Don't add people if you don't like their profile or what they stand for and ignore requests from the same kind of people. It takes a lot to shock or offend...
I have two colouring books from the 80s. One called "'Round the World with the Muppets" that is illustrated by Carolyn Bracken and one called "Muppet Fun All Year 'Round" that is illustrated by John Stevenson and Karen Leigh Prell.
The first one is where the Muppets are traveling the world but...
I've just copied the audio from the "Never Before" scene and slowed it down so it matches the pitch of the original soundtrack version (videos in the UK always play much faster than the original cinematic versions). There is a definite difference. The drum beat seems more prominant and Piggy has...
I received mine yesterday so I guess UK companies should be getting them soon too. I can't imagine it will be much longer for anyone as long as you ordered them pretty early on. I hope you get your Kermits soon. They will definitely be worth the wait! :)
I think that people would be willing to part will much more cash for a Muppet puppet than a random looking puppet that someone has made. Especially if it looks like the real thing. That guys puppets are pretty accurate looking to me.
That's really rough. If you paid through Paypal you can at the very least get your money back but that still doesn't help you get your Kermit. I pre-ordered mine from a specialist in Canada back in May and I received it today. It may be that yours will turn up soon but the fact your e-mails are...
For some reason I am starting to doubt myself now. lol. Best I can do is record the audio from the "Never Before" scene and send it to you and let you decide. Let me know of an e-mail address I can send it to that can cope with around a 4mb attachment. :)
Its the only track on the original...
There's one animated sketch that I remember seeing again and again in the 80's and it was one with a VERY 80's sounding rock tune and something about a kid not being allowed to play baseball with the rest of the kids but finally they relent and he helps them win the game. Does that ring any...
I only mentioned the copyright in way of a light-hearted quip. :D I still think an Electric Mayhem album would be cool. Maybe with old and new material. I know there are EM tracks on older Muppet albums that have never made it to CD yet.
