Chris, or anyone else who can help:
I purchased this disc, but it didn't come with any lyrics or the beautiful poster. The seller says this was how he himself purchased it, and it does seem to be complete as it is. But it only has a single page, with the cover art on one side and nothing on...
I can understand HIT wanting to capitalize on the increased awareness the show has gotten recently, but where's the respect for their current customers? All 1.3 million of them (according to the press release).
HIT must know they'll be alienating a LOT of people (95% of whom are, unlike us...
Despite this bad news, everyone should keep in touch with HIT and continue to bombard them with requests for a stand-alone Season 4. We bombarded them with requests for season sets four years ago and got them; this situation isn't any different. If you want it, ask.
It makes sense for them...
Please continue to contact HIT!
Hey folks,
I thought I'd chime in again on this whole debate. I spoke with Consumer Relations the other day, and the very polite woman on the other end still does not know what the final decision is. It sounded like she had started a small collection of...
Strange. You may want to call HIT (1-866-405-7625) and make sure they still accept mail to that post office box (or that it wasn't just full).
If that doesn't work, here is their physical address (you'll probably still want to send it to the attention of Consumer Relations):
HIT...
Unfortunately, no.
It would be really wonderful if Fraggle music got much more attention than it does. The CD set is nice, but there are so many more fantastic songs (along with great incidental scoring from Don Gillis) that have never been released or published.
Despite the e-mail I got, I think you may be right. No one releases complete series sets without the final season individually. Most studios release both at the same time. HIT, being a smaller studio with no TV-DVD experience except Fraggle, might be holding off.
Either that, or I may have...
You're welcome. I hope they will too.
Not that the complete collection will be undesireable - quite the opposite! But I think it's unfair (and also bad business) for HIT to do this. And frankly, it seems uncharacteristic of them. For four years, they've been going beyond our expectations...
Fan letters, e-mails and phone calls got us this far. If we do it again, HIT might be convinced to release Season 4 separately. They say "there are no plans at this time to release it alone as of right now." The key phrase is "right now."
I'd like to encourage everyone who wants a...
I personally think this is a HORRIBLE idea. Our support (and money) over four years has gotten HIT to this point, and now they are pulling the rug out from under our feets?
If you wish to voice your complaints, (I am) here again is the same contact info that got us to Season 4 in the first...
That's how it seems to me too. But I do hope HIT will make the short (and whatever other content might be exclusive) available separately to those who have purchased the individual sets and opt not to buy the big box.
If I were you, I would wait until we find out the difference between Season 4 and the Complete Series set. We've been told almost nothing yet about Season 4.
The Complete Series might just be a very nice packaging of what's already available, with nothing exclusive. Only time will tell, of...
I was concerned about the possibility of not having a separate Season 4, but I don't think that's going to happen. I don't believe HIT would make a stand-alone Season 4 box unavailable to the hardcore fanbase, whose support of the individual sets allowed for this complete series box to exist in...
That's possible. HIT's website listed the press release for the complete set, but nowhere did they mention the separate fourth season.
I really hope they don't plan to only release the complete set, and you're stuck if you want Season 4 by itself.
