I would imagine that Teeth would quite a bit considering the size and the detail in his outfit. It kinda depends on how much MR want to put into the line. The more simple the character, the easier it is to copy but when we get into the likes of EM characters, even slight flaws would be quite...
Mine turned up today. I pre-ordered from Amazon.com on September 8, it was released on October 30 so it's only taken just over one week to get here.
The sound quality is good but I'm not sure it has been remastered as such, the quality on the original Music & Magic CD is just as good. Nice to...
I know but officially the company is now called "HiT entertainment" rather than just "hit!" because some of the company rights were sold off to other people outside of the Jim Henson Company. Do I remeber that correctly or did I make that up? :smirk: I can see that using the company name in the...
I must admit, I'm surprised at that. I didn't think he would be a very big seller, not like Kermit. I wonder how many they have be allocated to have sold out so soon.
Also, the Zoot puppet was a different colour. He was blue/grey during the first season or two and then changed to green. I think he stopped wearing his hat at that point too. The green Zoot was around the time that HIT! took over from ATV. The HIT! ending is the one they still have a "clean"...
Do Amazon send things by private courier when sending them inland? It takes weeks for them to send them out of the country. :smirk: Be patient, it'll turn up!
"Terry Angus? 15 seconds to curtain Mr. Angus!" Sorry, couldn't resist. :p
Scooter, from an older Muppet fan's point-of-view, IS as famous as Rizzo but I'm still not sure if it would be the same for newer Muppet fans who have been brought on Muppets Tonight and the new movies. I depends on...
From my experience, from Amazon.com, I've had no problems at all. I have bought loads of DVDs and CDs from there. It's also cheaper than waiting until a UK supplier can provide them for me. The only problem is import tax if I get stung.
I'm pretty sure I heard that the "clean" endings for all the episodes from season two onwards are available. I thought I heard that when they released the first season and had to use the Zoot clip from the second season. I might be wrong tho.
How many family shows have lasted as long as The Muppets? Most British shows last a few seasons and American shows a few seasons more then they end. We get re-runs and the complete season box-sets and thats all. The Muppets having ANY impact on todays entertainment market with new programs...
Some of my favourite Muppet skits or shows were when Muppets from a different series would show up in another show. Classic examples are when Ernie & Bert appeared on Connie Stevens' episode of The Muppet Show and Big Bird appeared in Leslie Uggams' episode.
My favourite would probably be when...
Animal is just a wild man who's let himself go abit. He doesn't worry too much about his appearence, that's why his hair and beard are so unkempt. I never considered he was anything but human or at least humanoid.
I'm pretty sure Clifford is humanoid too. He's a cool and very laid back...
Ooh, plus, how about some of Bip Bippadotta's tracks? Always liked that character (I think I enjoyed Jim Henson performed characters more than anyone elses).
There is so much great stuff from the early years of SS, a lot of which hasn't been available for years. When some of the original albums were released on CD in the 90s tracks were moved around and replaced with more modern versions. A Sesame Street Christmas is a classic example. I'd love to...
There's some good stuff available from "Ace". I think they're a mail order catalogue that specialise in gift ideas. They have nice looking mugs, bags, purses and lamp shades with those images that Chris mentioned. They also sell a Piggy double duvet and pillow set.
Also, a pound-stretcher type...
