I definitely watched "Pooh Corner" and "Dumbo's Circus", every time they were on. :) I loved the songs "Pooh Corner" did at the end of every episode.
"Somedays the right side is the right side. Sometimes, the left is the right side. Because you're looking on the bright side all day long." :)
At one point you hear someone yell out "Rully!" So I guess Richard was trying to make her presence known, even if she wasn't seen in the audience. :flirt:
Yup, one wonders if Beaker was a paid assistant, or merely the unpaid intern!
Yes, like Steve said, he had no idea where Beaker came from in Richard. It is interesting; Richard seemed to enjoy playing loud and assertive characters, yet Beaker (who is loud yes, but not particularly assertive!)...
Yeah it's just one of those things, like most phobias, hard to explain lol. And again, it doesn't apply to every claymation that ever was. I am fascinated by the process and all. :)
I found a clip on the guys from Mystery Science Theater watching a Gumby short. I didn't want to watch at first...
That's true, he is more of a Bunsen character. Though Bunsen often seems to be deliberately causing trouble in his experiments! I guess he got sick of having Gorillas drag him away, something inside him snapped! Hehe
No it's ok...I've heard it all before, lol.
Actually good point, I guess there are a few exceptions I'd never thought of before. I've never been afraid of the Pillsbury Doughboy or the Noid (wow that's retro!) or the California Raisins (love them!). I think it's mainly the old sort of...
I understand what you mean. I just keep thinking that even if the special is successful, it doesn't mean a genuine "40 years" special would be produced. It seems more important to keep Elmo in front. "Follow the money." Although, I have learned that anything is possible. I won't say "it will...
I haven't seen the interview you're talking about, but I do think I get what you're saying. I think it's very hard to reproduce the work Jim Henson created. I'd be worried if it wasn't difficult, heh. But yeah it is upsetting and disapointing.
Personally, I've always thought it was better to...
Yeah it does sound strange, lol. I think it's that we're always told as children that these fantastic creatures aren't real, they don't exist, scary or no. The idea that we could prove that wrong I think is what fascinates people. Also the idea that we don't know everything, that there are still...
Surely! Hehe, sounds good! And it is really hot, it's hard to believe summer's nearly over!
Oh that "Oh G" song! Lol, yeah Richard's playing the mailman, good catch!

Really cool song! I always think Chris Cerf has one of those unique "from another...
Thanks for posting, Kiki! Weird, I was actually thinking the other day "I wonder why she hasn't posted lately" lol.
Yeah nice avatar; it's Sydney or the Bush! ;)
