Ted Sequel Announced, Wahlberg CoHosting 2013 Oscars with Seth Mcfarlane

I hate to double post, but this came up when I was finished posting, and it's a brilliant statement I completely agree with. If it wasn't for Nostalgia Critic and all those funny internet guys who comment on terrible stuff, we'd forget all those terrible E.T. and Gremlins ripoffs from the...

Ted Sequel Announced, Wahlberg CoHosting 2013 Oscars with Seth Mcfarlane

Hear Hear. I'm far more the fan of American Dad than I am Family Guy, and the better writing talent resides on that show. 2 of the head writers worked on Pepper Ann, one of the most brilliant girls' program ever, and a sadly underrated one at that. The irony is, that show almost stopped being...

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

We're talking about a show that had 130 episodes season until season 30, when it went down to 65. Not to mention it's a daily show. 26 episodes is standard now for weekly, as 26 episodes only fill up about 5 weeks and a day. If SW aired every episode in order, we'd have every episode in just...

You know that unaired Dexter's Lab episode?

Spike kinda forced his hand to make it more "adult." The series was plenty adult as it was until he was fired and it got juvenile. Of course, this was Spike's line up of horrible shows like Gary the Rat and Stripperella. And the sad thing was, the ratings of rerun classic R&S episodes were...

Ted Sequel Announced, Wahlberg CoHosting 2013 Oscars with Seth Mcfarlane

This is why I find his detractors more annoying than his sycophants. There are far worse things on television than his programming, nonunion reality tripe that really appeals to the lowest denominator. That stuff is far more detrimental than one over rated show, one actually well written show...

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

The thing that gets my goat is when companies that have no desire or will to release something on DVD are insanely overprotective of their copyright and just sit on it, selfishly, without offering it in any form. At least SW is trying to release some of the full episodes on various sites...

    F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Dude, I watched a LOT of sitcoms when I was a kid. Mostly on syndication. Stuff like The Jeffersons. That's not too far fetched.

    When you need to rant...

I gotta admit, I don't like unexpected ear rape, but that's what every YTP has. Even mine.

Classic Sesame Street clips on YouTube

The problem is that they're trying to sell those episodes via iTunes, Youtube, and Amazon (yet still not put them up on Hulu even though they've been doing that with TEC). I guess that's cutting into their much needed profits, and that's understandable. It's kind of a nasty thing to do, as the...

Vivendi to release new Fraggle Rock DVDs and other Henson Classics

Now now... anything that could revitalize the franchise needs the benefit of the doubt. JHC's digital shows have been pretty good so far (I rather like Dinosaur Train). Too bad that it's only going to be European unless someone in the US gets a hand on it. I'd love for PBS to air the show...

Disney buying Lucasfilm, Star Wars Episode VII coming in 2015

I like how Star Trek and Star Wars have the same director. HEY! Maybe he can start back up Star Search too. And help revitalize Star Jones's career.

Ted Sequel Announced, Wahlberg CoHosting 2013 Oscars with Seth Mcfarlane

I mean more like it seems like he originally planned to make a show with those characters, but that didn't leave the concept stage. It worked far better as a movie anyway. Plus he barely does anything on Cleveland. He doesn't even do voices anymore. I think Fox is trying to sabotage the...

Another Stupid movie to Overreact to...

Cars 2 was still about racing. The spy thing, I don't get why they still did it, but it oddly enough worked. At the very least, Cars 2 looked better than the first one. All the real effort of that movie went into the scenic backgrounds. The first one, while a better story, was stuck in that...

    F.R.I.E.N.D.S

It's probably due to Seinfeld. While there are people who genuinely like both, there are those that only care for one or the other. I'm one of those with Seinfeld. Of course, I don't care too much for F.R.I.E.N.D.S., but I understand it's cultural significance. Now Will and Grace I outright...

Disney buying Lucasfilm, Star Wars Episode VII coming in 2015

Looks like there are going to be plenty of lens flairs in Star Wars 7 After all.

    The Gravity Falls Thread

And she's good at it. But Schaal can play someone either quirky and adorkable like Mabel and then someone extremely axe crazy like Louise (and by extension, Hazel from the short stint in 30 Rock).

    F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Not really a fan, but it's interesting enough that Melodia from Silverhawks was part of the cast at one point. Janice is played by her voice actor, you see. Unfortunately, without a deadly Keytar.

    Best & Worst Movies 2012

I didn't care for his cartoon appearances either. I'm sure he's good in the comics, but the other villains are much more interesting over all. The disappointing bit for me is the closest we'll get to Nolanized Batman villains that weren't seen was The Batman. While they went a completely...

Another Stupid movie to Overreact to...

There's no doubt they're doing a sequel. I just think they're smarter than making the same film twice. There hasn't been a shred of plotline leaked, but I'm sure they have an interesting twist to continue the characters. Again, much like when "Sequel to Monsters Inc" was announced, no one...

Another Stupid movie to Overreact to...

I don't think Pixar is dumb enough to make Finding Nemo 2 The Hangover 2 (the example of unnecessary sequels, especially since it was done deliberately to show how unnecessary it is). They'll find a fresh angle on it, much like Monsters Inc 2 turned into a prequel about their college days.
