    Cartoon Network Greenlights Two Series

It's on "Hiatus" which means it's unofficially cancelled despite the huge call to get it back. And I wouldn't say that Bandai's terrible toy line was a huge factor. Bandai has canceled shows that don't sell toys before, even though they have that little say in it. Love it or hate it, the 90's...

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

I hate that because it's the name of the wrong cartoon character.

Ted Sequel Announced, Wahlberg CoHosting 2013 Oscars with Seth Mcfarlane

Kaley hasn't been in a movie (Seth only just gets that distinction, being in 2), so I don't see why a television only star would host a movie based event.

    Cartoon Network Greenlights Two Series

Greg Weiseman can't catch a break, can he? GL just freaking started. The Batman series has merit, but the Teen Titans show sounds completely awful. A poor attempt to be the old series while throwing out everything that made the original series good. This is exactly why I hate when people want...

Ted Sequel Announced, Wahlberg CoHosting 2013 Oscars with Seth Mcfarlane

Scooby-Doo is slowly creeping in to that area. Oddly enough, Scooby replaced the Flinstones on the Push Pop before Nestle lost the license to put characters on the packaging.

Arthur - Where is the Show Going?

The new season's animation is starting to grow on me now. Sometimes it looks pretty good, anyway. But have you ever noticed when they call back and episode, they always manage to get something wrong? They'll have a costume someone wore in a previous episode, but it would always be with the...

Ted Sequel Announced, Wahlberg CoHosting 2013 Oscars with Seth Mcfarlane

They're starting to release commercials for Seth's Oscar hosting duties.... In the style of Family Guy cutscenes, of course.

What Muppet Merchandise would you like to see come out this year

Oddly enough, Hot Topic has gradually turned into Teh Internetz the store. Their T-Shirts are long delayed references to internet memes, they have a lot of MLP/Adventure Time/Regular Show merchandise (they're all internet popular shows). I saw a Gangam Style vynal figure last time I was there...

Arthur - What Did the Kids Grow Up to Be?

...Don't they all think they're going to be Astronauts too? Presidents and Astronauts. Often both.

What Muppet Merchandise would you like to see come out this year

He was a semi-major character on the last Muppet Movie. When the Disney Store did Lion King plush to co-incide with the 3-D rerelease, they made plush of the generic Giraffes and Wildebeests. I think they could make an Uncle Deadly plush and have it sell.

    My Question's Been Answered...

There came a certain point where the McFarline toys all sucked anyway. I liked the Beatles stuff, yet never had the money to get much of it. The Shrek Line was pretty good and the Austin Powers stuff was good but far too reliant on the voice box display stand for the characters to stand up. I...

Ted Sequel Announced, Wahlberg CoHosting 2013 Oscars with Seth Mcfarlane

That said, re: Hosting the Oscars... there's gotta be some funny reaction on Seth's part as the Simpsons actually have an Oscar Nod for "The Longest Daycare." I guess being before Ice Age 4 made The Simpsons look Oscar worthy. But it was a great short. I'm glad I saw Ice Age 4 for that...

    My Question's Been Answered...

You're thinking of that Twisted WOZ toy line/video game, aren't you? Heh... Still, you have to admit, the original movie doomed the franchise for years to have anything else in its shadow, especially the books. Still, I'd want to see the darkness of the books, not the darkness of fake gothy...

Ted Sequel Announced, Wahlberg CoHosting 2013 Oscars with Seth Mcfarlane

FG's the only thing they merchandise. There was some AD stuff just before the show came out, a set of bendy figures, a couple shirts and buttons... that was about it. The show's been on 8 seasons, and getting a 9th, and there hasn't been so much as a plush Klaus or Roger. I'm actually amazed...

You know that unaired Dexter's Lab episode?

You know what episode they should have banned? Trick or Treehouse. That one hurt my brain. And then there was one in a later season about snowglobes or something that was a complete mindscrew. I noticed... there is no writing credit in this episode. Hmmmmmm.... no one wanted to take the blame?

    Post Sesame Street Cereal

I managed to make the cereal taste like banana. I put bananas in it. :skeptical: Really. I love the hypocrisy that leads to kid's cereals being healthier than adult ones. I looked at a package of bran, and it had the very same corn sweeteners that they want to abolish in kid's food...

    When you need to rant...

Let's put it this way. Imperfect, unresponsive machinery replaced bureaucratic jerks who will screw the heck out of you if they're in a mood. It's more of a lateral move.

You know that unaired Dexter's Lab episode?

Spike wanted an adult show and they wanted him to push the limit and make all the jokes more obvious. I mean, if you think about it, classic Ren and Stimpy was very adult to begin with. The retro 1950's/60's atmosphere for one, resembling older HB cartoons. What kid's going to pick up on...

Ted Sequel Announced, Wahlberg CoHosting 2013 Oscars with Seth Mcfarlane

I don't dig the trend of these new super serious dark fairy tale projects. Once Upon a Time seems to be the only successful one. I have to admit, this is just as bad as the goofy parody fairy tale trend started by Shrek. Wasn't Glee created to be the antithesis of the saccharine, Saved by...

Ted Sequel Announced, Wahlberg CoHosting 2013 Oscars with Seth Mcfarlane

AD stopped being preachy halfway through the second or third season. It's sitcomy, still, but very twisted. Some of the episodes now have Stan being the one coming out right, especially against Roger. But the writing is far superior to Family Guy. The middle child always has to work harder...
