I guess maybe they'll think people will confuse them for those Reese's Pieces.
Which are actually gross, IMO: I LOVE Reese's, but somehow, the pieces taste gross, which is why I just stick with the original peanut butter cups.
I've mentioned this before in another thread, but you know how every Christmas, they come out with bags of just red and green M&Ms? Why don't they ever come out with bags of just orange and brown M&Ms for Halloween?
I've said it before, but I've recently realized one of the reasons why I RULLY enjoy FTB, possibly moreso than most other Muppet movies, is that there's hardly any fourth-wall breaking, with the exception of Oscar's Grouch Anthem, and Count reading the credits.
The Muppets are known for not...
Okay, I got an answer as to what's going on...
That little grid of tiny squares next to Google+, Gmail, and Images on Google's homepage is where everything is at now (Docs, Maps, etc.). They've actually ADMITTED that it's because they only cater to people using Chrome now.
And as I mentioned earlier, I simply cannot tolerate any kind of carbonation at all... the second it goes down my throat and into my stomach, it just spews back up (and I'll never understand why they call 'em SOFT drinks). I'm probably the only grown man in the world who orders milk in a...
Heck, even Rebecca Black (the girl that did that "Friday" song the entire universe hated) has a fanbase with a nickname: "Blackies"... which seems somewhat racist, but whatever.
I just explained it: homosexuality is considered to be non-kid-friendly by these fanatical conservative groups, and as such, to feature such a thing on a kid show or family show is considered morally reprehensible.
So are gays.
The thing of it is, people are going to be up-in-arms over this, because there's a bunch of stigmas at play here: one is the stigma that the Muppets "are for kids" (or even worse, "are for babies"), and another stigma is that the very idea of homosexuality or crossdressing or...
That's true, I think I even did a thread about that sometime back.
Two examples that come to my mind are Herry's Alphabet Secret, and The King's Problem. In the former, Jerry Nelson voices both Herry and Pamela, Frank Oz voices both Grover and Rosemary, and Jim Henson voices Fenwick, while in...
There's growing concern over at Elwood City Central that the forum will go south because of Hubert's absence, much like the Arthur Wiki (I wouldn't know, I was never part of the Wiki), someone's even pleading for ME to contact the forum server and ask that I be made an admin to help keep things...
She's a hard partier, that's for sure, and it kind of shows too (believe it or not, she's only in her 20s, but she looks much older than that), but then again, some were complaining about Ricky Gervais being the lead in MMW because he's an atheist. I had reservations about Jason Segel's...
Uh oh, the Moral Guardians are going to have heart attacks over this.
So... what about "John Denver and the Muppets"? I mean, when you think about it, Lady Gaga is a real person, the Muppets are (technically) not real: nobody is going to want to have billing under something that doesn't really...
Oh brother, here we go again, most whining from people over a cast of a TV show for being "all white"... or, in this case, SNL not having any black women on the show.
I mean really, I said it before, you get an "all white" cast, people complain, you get an "all black" cast, people complain...
Perhaps Alice Cooper asked to be on, and KISS never did? I know Jerry Juhl and others have said after the Season One was so successful, various different guests were lining up to be on the show (as opposed to beforehand when Jim and others could only get those who they happened to be friends...
I like chocolate cereals fine, it's just Count Chocula is TOO chocolatey for me; I like Cocoa Puffs, Cocoa Krispies, Cocoa Pebbles and such, but Chocula is too much for me. Y'know, I like pizza, but it's difficult to eat if it has TOO much tomato sauce on it.
Had my first bowl of Boo Berry since I was like nine or so today... doesn't seem to be quite as flavorful as I remember it being, but I'm sure it's probably gone through a number of changes over the years.
I think I can definitely say of the big three, Frankenberry is definitely my favorite.
