Re: Guys,
There's a thread somewhere on the new Starbucks Muppet Cookies and Muppet Babies PVC figures that weren't in the original Henson press release.
If what i heard is right, there will be no announcements on future Henson TV Shows or movies until July when the sale gies through...
Is there any chance the 60 second restriction on new searches could be turned off ? It seems to be attached to the new post search and is making things difficult everytime you go back to look at the new posts.
It's a shared exclusive like Vacation Fozzie and there'll probably be two different color schemes to buy. One will be available through Toyfare magazine and the other will be through a yet to be announced retail store, but it isn't Target.
Y'see this is the problem we are gonna have a lot now, people replying to people for no reason because the generic 'reply' button is way over on the left and out of the way.
Thanks for illustrating that for me FB ! :p
I got one - the bit at the top of each forum page that says the thread title and the Welcome <Name> thing - sometimes it isn't aligning itself correctly in the browser window. Sometimes it's squashed up and the Welcome <Name> is in the middle of the page rather than on the right and sometimes...
Yep, thats kinda what i'm feeling. I think it's way too much - be good to turn the stuff people will use less off. Some of the enhancements are very good though.
On the whole i'm liking it although its seeming a bit complicated at first - is there a list of all the new features anywhere Phillip ?
Two things - firstly i think the main page looks a little cluttered, maybe if there's a way of not having all those features turned on at the main page...
I think you would classify 'false information' as anything you write that isn't obviously a joke and could be taken seriously by other people. For instance making up news releases and posting them as fact, or like with the Palisades forum the other day - some guy said that Series 4 had arrived...
Why change a winning formula ? :p
The rules all look pretty appropriate to me - the things about sigs, avatars and false information are all great. Maybe a guideline on advertising pirate DVDR's/Tapes for sale rather than trade might have been good too.
Cool, and i expect being on TV and a bit more visible 'Ren & Stimpy' will get quite a bit of publicity making the company better known and therefore the Muppet line too. So yeah, i guess it could be good for us.
I'm really pleased you've got a license that you are personally really into - i...
Yeah i don't think we'll be seeing any more Swamp Years - wasn't exactly the brightest idea that one. I've had dental surgery that was less painful than that.
Big fan eh Ken ? I checked out all the websites and things and yeah, huge fanbase in the U.S. Being over here where it's much more quiet i didn't realise. Stinky, Filthy and Powdered Toast Man ? I bet you guys are gonna have a ton of fun with this.
So will it affect the Muppet line in...
<Evil Laugh> Oh but they did ! You've not heard about "Jim Henson's Frog School" ? It's a TV series they had in pre-production similar to Swamp Years but you follow Kermit through adolescence as he goes through school and faces lifes little problems. Yikes !
Not sure whether they've come...
You mean doing a new animated show ? Yeah i agree - i think it's a certainty that something is happening rather than just re-runs. It takes a lot to get that many licensee's willing to buy into the product and put up the money for mass TV ad campaigns. If it's just for some 20 year old...
