    The RHLC!

I just noticed this 1978 article from TIME magazine. I haven't read it all yet, but it's very detailed and comlimentary. If anyone today wonders what the bit deal was with the Muppets, they should read something like this (Richard does get a brief mention, and Scooter is referred to as "a human...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

I do agree with Dr. Tooth, parents just put their kids in front of the TV and just trust it "must be good." I don't want to get into it too much here, but I think SS was working for kids before, and I'd rather have it stay the way it was another 40 years, heh. From what I see now, the show is...

Your Thoughts: The Muppet Show Season 2

Well it probably wasn't up to him, if that's what they wrote for him to do. It wasn't his show. And why have Rich Little on if he isn't going to do impressions of you? And if you want someone as a guest star, you don't tell them their impressions of you aren't working, hehe. Plus, in doing the...

Your Thoughts: The Muppet Show Season 2

That's a good point as well. Fozzie and Piggy in particular were still developing as characters.

Your Thoughts: The Muppet Show Season 2

They did need a bit of work, but it can take time to develop impressions, they don't always just come up out of nowhere. And maybe he was thrown off by the whole puppet thing.

I don't know, but I wish I could have taken it, lol.

If you support Disney owning the Muppets...

Roger Rabbit was so sophisticated in its humor and mood. And it definitely was a homage to animation's glory days. Plus where else do you get to see all those different characters together in one movie (and getting along)? !

Your Thoughts: Fraggle Rock Season 3

I love rediscovering things you remember watching years ago, it's such a great feeling. Yeah they really went for the emotion in "Gunge the Great and Glorious" without being sappy (that wouldn't have fit Marjory's little rodentish pals lol). ;) Love your "flat" signature, that whole scene is...

Your Thoughts: Sesame Street Season 38

I have seen that interview, and I'm personally very glad Frank shared his thoughts on SS. And he explained the problems very clearly and analytically.

WHAT? ! Hey, I admit I kinda liked Space Jam, but in no way did it compare to Roger Rabbit! lol

    The RHLC!

Lol, yup, that was definitely one of the reasons I liked him in the first place. It's always refreshing to see people who don't mind being a little eccentric. ;) Hehe, they were very lucky to be part of such a unique group. Having been through several drama club experiences, hehe, I can tell...

    What Disney Needs to do....

Yes, people ask me why I still watch kid's shows sometimes. Well because they're so much better than most of the adult shows! For that reason, they have layers, and we can get all the jokes as adults. I have found a few modern cartoons that still manage to do this, thank goodness. :)

Your Thoughts: Fraggle Rock Season 3

Four words: Junior's letter to Geraldine "If you get back before I do, don't leave without me!" Lol Classic! And I love how he didn't actually write anything, but just drew a very "vivid" picture, hehe. Junior's so sad about losing his precious radish, but he ends up making a real friend...

If you support Disney owning the Muppets...

Exactly, these debates bring out a lot of great points and occasionally make things more interesting. We should be able to discuss without getting hostile. :) I won't pretend to know how Disney or any company runs things. But I've seen enough of the real world to know that people aren't so...

    I Am So Freaked!

Yeah it does depend on state of mind at the moment, definitely, like if you're vulnerable maybe. You know we've all been hypnotized or in a trance at one point or another. Like when you get really wrapped up in a book or movie. Or prepare yourself for something big like a test. Also actors...

    I Am So Freaked!

Lol. Actually the person isn't a complete slave to hypnosis, people are actually aware of what's going on all the time and can choose not to do something. It's just a more suggestible state of mind. :)

Hahah, well I imagine you have to be a professional. I did see an animal expert do it on TV once. :)
