Apparently Halloween maybe a washout this year for us... all the meteorologists are predicting like this big apocolyptic storm blowing through the area tomorrow. Wooo, scary.
Sheesh. The ONLY two times a GOOD episode of ARTHUR was going to be airing this week (for the first time in I forget how many months now... like five or so... ), and both times, it was pre-empted; Monday was supposed to be "What Scared Sue Ellen?/Clarissa is Cracked", but was pre-empted by an...
Once again, I called it... seriously! There's a woman (in North Carolina, I think) whose made the news today, because apparently, she's not giving kids candy this Halloween, but rather, passive aggressive notes for them to give to their parents telling them that their kids are fat, and shouldn't...
I called it.
Already, on the local news today, "How can you be sure that YOUR children are safe this Halloween? Luckily, we've found a number of neighborhoods where it would be safe for your kids to go trick-or-treating!"
Well, as I said, since the EW special comes from an actual retail copy on VHS, the quality is pretty decent enough... not sure about TSWLO, that one might be a little iffy, I'd have to check the tape again (y'know, how unreliable PBS was back in those days :p)
I do believe I'd enjoy Season One...
Hmm... I have both of the specials of which you're looking for, unforunately, their sources aren't DVD: TSWLO was taped off PBS, though the EW special is on retail VHS, so that quality is pretty good.
Reminds me of that clip from WORLD'S DUMBEST... where a squirrel had nibbled on a pumpkin that was so rotten it had fermented, and so the squirrel was running around in circles, chasing its tail, falling off the tree trunk, etc...
Clip Converter stopped working for me years ago, and STILL doesn't work for me... but the one thing about them is they always distorted what you downloaded, leaving you with overpixelated clips, which is why I had switched to Zamzar... then Google came around and put the kibosh on them and...
Oh believe me, there was little to no logic in Hooterville, they not only broke the laws of logic, they DESTROYED them: acknowledging the written and directed by credits, acknowledging and correcting subtitles, humming and singing along with the theme song or other music cues... and who WAS...
Okay, I'm sorry to triple post here, but here's yet ANOTHER new problem on YT:
Apparently, on certain videos, if you try to move the play head to a certain point in the timeline of the video, the video will instead start playing back from the beginning all over again, each time you click the...
Certain episodes of H.R. PUFNSTUF had the laugh track during the end titles, while the original test pilot of THE MUNSTERS (with different people playing Lily and Eddie, and it's in color) had the laugh track during the opening titles as well.
On very, very rare occasions, the laugh track was left on during the O.R., one occasion that comes to mind is when the crazy Turk grabs a sedative, and when Henry attempts to take it away from him, unwittingly injects himself with it, and passes out.
And yeah, notice too how in the later...
Oh, I forgot another one:
"There's a growing problem with American children today... they're too fat! My God, they're SO fat! Half their entire bodies hang over the edge of their desk chairs, they take up entire seats on the buses, the tiles on the floor crack when they walk down the hallways...
Once again, that's a misconception that the laugh track tells you, "This is the funny part", "You're supposed to laugh here".
But I have to disagree with you, I find that turning off the laugh track on the M*A*S*H DVDs makes the show seem ghastly - by that time, writers and producers of...
Okay, this original test pilot for THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES has got to be THE WORST laugh track I have EVER heard... I don't even know WHO was responsible for this, but it clearly wasn't the fellow who did the laugh tracks for all those sitcoms back in the 60s and 70s.
This may have turned...
Eh, I got a response.
Apparently, Google recently implemented this new "Auto Enhancer" to its entire site, so whenever you upload an image on any of its products, yeah... this also explains why channel logos look wrong on YouTube. :p
Apparently you can disable it... but (get this Drtooth...
