I don't see why they are. After all, the Chicken Select based Snack Wrap is as popular as ever. Then again, Chicken Strips are pretty common place, and everywhere else has them anyway.
Yeah, but that movie wasn't going to play to them. Jim is on the downswing of his career and all, but I don't think that was why this movie didn't open in second. It's more likely that no one expected The Call to be a hit. In fact, the Burt Wonderstone movie made 10 mil, which is actually...
I'm very disappointed Burt Wonderstone didn't open second. It wasn't quite the movie I expected it to be, and it was all the better a film for it. On the surface it does seem like a 00's Will Ferrel vehicle with Steve Carrel in it, but Steve brought a lot of sweetness to the role that Will...
I feel bad for Christopher Lloyd. They really need a new vehicle for him.
I honestly don't know what was a more embarrassing project. Oogieloves or Stacked.
And they did mention a few Mad Agents by name. I'll give them credit for that. Still, would it have killed them to do the tiniest bit of research? They couldn't even get the name of the town (Metro City) or Gadget's catchphrase (WowserS! They couldn't even get the freaking "S") right. But...
And they screw over any existing franchise if there's a movie (cough: G.I. Joe Renegades).
I have yet to see Dan Vs. I'm afraid of it, actually. From what I've heard and seen of the show, it seems like something that would be like looking into a horrifying mirror. Just like Welcome to the...
Disney did so much damage to the Pooh license with all their preschool related Pooh merchandising and media, they have only themselves to blame for the movie flopping. Of course, the movie was incredibly short.
Sid has a following, but it clearly wasn't popular enough to hold up a theatrical...
They are kind of a disappointing send off, but it really seems like Roger left it open to the next artist and writer, should Boom and Disney have renegotiated the license. They did not, and we got an ambiguous ending. Then again, since it's supposed to be Muppet Show continuity, the Status Quo...
It helps that Penguins of Madagascar takes the funniest characters from the movie (including the Lemurs), fleshes them out in ways the movie couldn't. And recasting Kowalski gave the character some much needed personality and depth.
I really liked Madagascar 3, but as I watched POM before it...
I guess they're adorable, but they're not too much fun. At least, not as much fun as the one where Pinky clones herself.
And for those who haven't watched the show... Pinky Pie is the most hyper character on television. Like straight up tripping on Ecstasy hyper.
What? You think I'm not...
I'd severely doubt that. They rarely do when it comes to these shows. Though, I could list some examples of actors that reprised their roles in the animated series. I like how Penguins of Madagascar actually reversed that and upgraded the animators that voiced 2 of the Penguins with...
I'm a casual fan, and I'd shudder to call myself a Brony. Much like I like Star Trek, but I'm far from a Trekkie (among other things, I like the new movie... like the rest of the natural world). I agree. This is one of the great girl's shows, right up there with Pepper Ann and Jem. Shame...
You came to the right guy.
It completely sucks that the US never got Gadget and the Gadgetinis. While not a huge improvement over Gadget, it had some interesting concepts. Brain the Dog is a broken down nervous wreck that gets fits of terror just having Gadget's name mentioned... that's...
I think it had something to do with the video not processing the full way. I think I had a similar problem once before. But it really drove me nuts not having it appear on my channel. I was worried it might not appear in my recent activity.
And the worst part is, I had nothing else to work...
This is the first I'm hearing of hate for not the Disney Doug (and even then, it wasn't that bad..a little heavy handed sometimes, but never bad). Ren and Stimpy was the biggest hit of the three when they came out, with Rugrats slowly gaining steam and becoming a network's pet. Doug never took...
As I said years ago, the problem wasn't the shows. The problem was the marketing failed to let anything co-exist with said shows. Disney aggressively marketed HSM and HM, but left out anything that wasn't a Pixar movie. Pixar movies and preschool shows were the exceptions to the "only market...
Not a fan of eggs by much, but the yolk is the only thing worth eating in an egg dish where they're separate (i.e. poached, hard boiled, fried, or deviled). personally, I'd rather have the hotcakes or a sausage Mcbiscuit. If I can get someone to go and get me one during breakfast hours, I'll...
Cartoon writers are far closer to true nerdy things than mainstream TV writers. They are basically very close to that world. One of the first ComicCon cartoons ever was an episode of Fat Albert written by Paul Dini.
It goes to prove the point, close to the one first made on this thread...
It's a cultural shift. Nerd girls are considered cute, and kinda Moe. We still have all the other classic female stereotypes, but there's such an increase of nerdy girls in television... again with television producers failing to see what the heck nerds are really about. I give Big Bang...
