Well, not without trying. There were some genuinely funny moments, like when the lever wasn't working and Snuffy kept saying how it was like he was already flying and saying how light he was, without going anywhere and Alan struggling.
Seems like some weird sketch comedy series. Have no clue what the heck they're saying. Looks like one's supposed to be some mix between Herry and Grover and Patrick Starfish.
This movie's never going to happen because only Henson wants to see it get made. I think Legacy or whoever bought the rights to the film bought the rights to it to sit on it. That does happen. Studios who buy up rights just to sit on them.
Look at how sad their DTV release of Sid the Science...
I highly recommend Popeye. It goes all the way back to Popeye's true Thimble Theater roots, and it borders on complete forgery. That's how amazing Roger is. I've been literally begging for some Popeye project to go back to Thimble Theater instead of those eat Spinach, punch Bluto cartoons...
I just realized something about the new Sabrina cartoon. It stars Ashley Tinsdale. Her character's mother in Phineas and Ferb is voiced by Caroline Reah, who played one of Sabrina's aunts in the live action sitcom.
Funny how that worked out.
A little disappointed that it's not the TV show coming back to DVD/Television/Download. But pretty cool news none the less.
I REALLY hope they do a Darkwing Duck remastered if this does well enough.
Ugh. Anyone who you eat with that insists that they watch some show, even a good one, where they cut up human bodies or talk about very disgusting diseases when you eat with them.... I love House, but I'm not about to go make a large sandwich to eat during.
These kinda shows can really ruin...
Oh, definitely. Off is always the best alternative to being offended by something.
Though I will say it gets a bit of a bother when you're watching something unrelated and eating something and the commercial comes on for the next episode of something where the murderer skins his victims and...
I wish they'd censor stupidity on television. The dirtiest scripted shows are far less damaging than "Splash." The fact there's even a need for a show about F-listers diving pretty much shows that there's something terribly terribly wrong.
Scratch that... the fact there are competing shows...
I cannot tolerate "Moral" arguments. Any side. That's what brings the world neutered cartoon series, soda bans, and all this other garbage because no one wants to take any freaking responsibility for anything.
I hate censorship with a burning passion. What you said, opinion or not, was the...
I'm sorry... but this...
... is the most prudish thing I've ever heard. You want clean jokes, read a kid's joke book. What you forgot to add was Tim Allen, voice of Buzz Lightyear used to be a cocaine addict. And he snitched out on his other coke buddies. That's a little worse than making...
I mostly read adapted works based on TV shows. And quite honestly, there's been such an uptick in quality in the past 20 years. You're actually reading episodes of the series now. Heck, Garfield comics are partially written by Mark Evainer, who wrote the original Garfield and Friends cartoon...
Again, it's that his contract is about to expire (for the second time). Hopefully, NBC will learn its lesson and let it expire no matter how much Leno whines, screams, and throws a temper tantrum. And the worst past is the hypocrisy. When Leno first hosted the show, NBC was shooing Carson out...
As long as they didn't screw with the DIC properties that Cookie Jar absorbed, I'm okay with it.
Still, they should've gone with the studio that does Martha Speaks.
Why should it? he already did Fosters. Fosters wasn't like PPG, it was its own thing. This new series promises to be its own thing as well, and it will be much better for it. I'd hate to have cartoonists pigeonholed into making the same thing over and over.
Did you know some Japanese...
I bet the end of this episode, Murray announces "Today's Engineering Street is brought to you by the letter pulley and the number pulley."
Really? 3 sketches about pulleys, and only one of them (Spider-Monster) that's actually funny (and short and snappy) enough to get away with it? UGH...
