    The RHLC!

Very true on both counts. And sometimes can serve to teach a lesson we weren't aware of. Great signature, btw, I LOVE that song! Lol I put up my new signature last night when I was in a particularly annoyed mood! Lol

    The RHLC!

Oh I forgot, glad the wedding went well, MN! :) Lol, that's a great dream, Skye. Funny how so often in dreams we create some kind of drama (like running late) instead of just being able to enjoy something. But still, at least you showed up on time! ;) I wonder what variety shows would be...

    The RHLC!

Yeah they should do another DVD of Muppet appearances on different variety shows (as usual copyright would be the big difficulty lol). Yeah Cher and the Muppets definitely had chemistry, as well as the Muppets with Cosby and the Smothers Brothers. All four of them would have been great on the...

Would they do a storyline about death now?

I could be going out on a limb here, but I think part of the reason the original episode involving death made sense was because Mr. Hooper was clearly playing an "old man." We never see him as anything else. Unfortunately, it made sense that he would eventually pass away. (Even if they didn't...

    Your Thoughts On "Muppets Tonight!"

I totally agree; what passes for clever humor and genuine emotion has really gone down these days. It's like all this couterfeit humor and emotion keeps trying to push its way in and replace everything that came before. As I said before, it's like the movie makers and audiences are trying hard...

    New Muppet comic Strip

I can't get it up on here, but the cover is of the rat from Ratatouille and says "Cool DVD Extras!" The top of the comic says "Ladies and Gentlemen! Boys and Girls! It's that Master of Mirth, that Guru of Gags...Fozzie Bear! Panel #1: "A Funny Bear" Fozzies comes on stage with a dummy; a...

I love that site, so many retro commericals! They're heart warming and remeniscent of a simpler time. :)

Would they do a storyline about death now?

Personally, I don't think they should do it again. As harsh as this sounds, it would be anti climatic after having already done such a bold move before. From a slightly different position, I don't think it would work now anyway, the emotion on the show isn't quite as mature as it used to be.

Another rant from your friendly (and not so active) author!

Good luck with everything! But I agree with Java, make sure you know everything about the condition of the house first. You don't want to end up having to pay for repairs.

The most DATED thing on classic Sesame Street?

Absolutely! People at gyms I've gone to remind me that fruit is also a "sometime food." For instance, orange juice is good for your immune system. But too much of it means too much sugar. Same with Bananas. On the other hand, cookies have little to no nutritional value, lol. At least fruit is...

    New Muppet comic Strip

Actually I've seen the November issue out two days ago (and bought it) and it does have the Muppet comic inside. Ugh, I can't remember what's on the cover as I'm not too familiar with the current Disney shows. And I just bought it and put it away very quickly (Hey, it might be a collectible...

    I'd make a HORRIBLE mother!

Oh believe me, I totally understand! It's such a painful affliction, even if not serious. And when it's someone you care about and so young and innocent. :)

    The Fate of Muppetvision 3*D

Yeah, that is what needs to change, they need to work harder at exposure. I wish they would begin the exposure with the older projects and not just the newer ones, but that's my opinion. :)

    The Fate of Muppetvision 3*D

I am all for making new Muppet stuff and attractions, but not at the expense of the old ones. I just feel we can't keep thinking that way, this idea that we need to move on and throw away the past. We'll end up having nothing left to preserve. And some may disagree, but I feel that even the...

    Sesame Street films

I think that's a much more realistic example of the way a child's mind works, rather than that "sick" equals "poisonous." :)

    I'd make a HORRIBLE mother!

Aww, yeah I imagine it is rough to get Chicken Pox at such a young age. Well, at least she won't get it later on. Hope she feels better! Why do you think you'd make a horrible mother? Because you were so worried? That's practically the definition of one. Lol I understand you wish you could be...

    Sesame Street films

Lol, I remember the "might make you sick" line. Personally, I never took it as lemons are poisonous. Just that it was unpleasant to eat (and probably my parents explained that to me as well). Oh please, I can't believe they took away the word "murder." It's an expression for goodness sake! It...

    Super Grover Cartoon

Not sure if you mean this, but there were a couple VHSs of various Sesame Street cartoons (with just shots of still drawings one after the other), including Super Grover. They were usually called Five Sesame Street Stories and Eight Super Stories from Sesame Street. You can find them being sold...

    The RHLC!

Hehe! I got see an episode of The Cher Show the other night, the season premiere from 1975. Because it was the season premiere, there were a ton of big guests, including Bill Cosby, the Smothers Brothers and...The Muppets! It was very enjoyable, I always thought Cher had a good blend of...

Sesame Street DVD for injured veterans

Sorry if it made you uncomfortable, I'm sure that was no one's intention. I personally thought it was an interesting dicussion. And the situation is complicated, it's not black and white. :)
