I agree, you have to start young to get kids to like something. But it's just not true that no kids today enjoy the Muppets. It's that they're not even being given the opportunity to judge for themselves. At the TV Museum, a little girl was genuniely enjoying Muppets Go the Movies. But when will...
Actually I'm not that surprised, a lot of people are saying magazines are on their way out. People just don't buy them as much, they go on the Internet. What they should have done is put the comics (and anything else they wanted from the mag) on the web. Well, maybe they will find another outlet...
I was just thinking today that I thought I saw Richard's head below the Genie, wasn't sure though, thanks! I love the way he keeps calling Gobo, "Goo Goo" or something, lol. But then later when he's alone with Wembley he gets the name right, proving he was just trying to annoy Gobo. You really...
Sometimes it is good for parents to encourage kids to face their fears, let them know it's only make believe and nothing to worry about. There are so many real things to be afraid of in the world, you shouldn't be worried about imaginary things. Plus, learning to face any fears early on can be...
Well we'll see what happens when it happens. :)
But just to say, I never liked Toy Story all that much ("Christmas Toy" wanna be! Lol) and now I'm even less inclined.
Yup that clip sure is 'pretty great', hehe! I actually bought the Put Down the Duckie special a few weeks ago. It brought back so many memories (I almost wish I also had the original PBS pledge segments in between! lol) More than anything, I wish they would put the 1991 "Big Bird's Birthday (Or...
Haha, well I personally don't look down on the label of children's entertainment. If new generations aren't introduced to these shows, they were very quickly disapear. Many people tend to remember the shows of their childhood most fondly. But you are free to have your opinion. :)
I know! That was so upsetting having to choose! And I didn't even realize Kotter was on DVD now. Don't get mad, but I voted for Kotter in that case, since I am a fan of that too. I voted for Muppet Show in the other category. :)
It does make sense that it's Richard; it says in Of Muppets and Men that song sketches were often crafted specifically for Jerry and Richard together, since they were the best singers.
The piano player does sound a little like Jim, like one of his goofy pompous voices. But he's also got that...
Aw, glad I could help, Meep!
That's definitely Richard, not sure why someone thought it was Steve. On the other hand, not everyone listens to this stuff over and over again, hehe (and that's probably a good thing ;) ).
This song's nice but the cobwebs on the guy's hat always grossed me out, lol.
Aw, let the woman melt, it's fun! Hehe ::melts::
Hmm,well in the past I've always been interested in people who were more like me, shy and quiet. He's the first person I've enjoyed who is in many ways the opposite. So I think I've moved past looking for interests that match who I am, and...
No, lol, it is scary to me too, considering our increasing lack of morality and responsibility (and decent entertainment).
Yes just about every religion has been hijacked and distorted by powerful people (and some not so powerful ones who are just as troublesome heh). Thankfully, there is...
