Bear in the Big Blue House will have more DVD and VHS releases this fall. I for one am excited as this is a great show! Each Bear in the Big Blue House title will include four fun sing-along songs, Spanish-language tracks, continuous "play-thru" option, and are approximately 75 mintutes in...
I agree that many Henson works should get the DVD treatment. I am a big fan of TV Shows on DVD, and would love to see many shows on DVD.
Buena Vista (AKA Disney) owns the rights to Dinosaurs. They produced/distrubuted the show. I think they still have rights (or parts of them).
Here are...
To put simply Henson secured the music rights to the songs featured for television use, not home release. So when the special is released to the public some parts need to be cut for legal reasons.
For a lot more information on this and what was cut check out Muppet Centrals FAQ's on this issue...
I bought the DVD of this film a while back and I love it. I grew up with this movie, and now as an adult I still love to watch it. The adventure, characters, songs, and plot are great! I do wish the DVD was wide-screen, and had some more extras but the film alone was worth the few bucks. I...
Here are some more Henson referances from Family Guy and the episodes they appear in.
"I Never Met the Dead Man"
Stewie has a "Bond Villian" moment when he starts arguing with the characters with Seseame Street phone
"Mind over Murder"
TV shows start to run together in Peter's mind when he...
I've Seen the episode you are talking about. It is the episode called "Peter, Peter, Caviar Eater".
In the episode the Griffin's inherit a very large house from Lois' aunt. The family moves to the new home, and Peter sells their old house. After some stupid spending the family looses their...
I found an E-mail address in one of the press releases about the Henson/Disney deal and sent my letter to it, I still can't find any mailing address for the Muppet Holding Company. I got a reply back and thought I would share it with you all.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to contact the new "Muppet Holding Company", AKA Disney. If I wanted to write a letter to the people at Disney in charge of the Muppets where would I write too. I have been unable to find an address, or contact for Disney (all I could find is of technical...
In this parody of "She Drives Me Crazy" Al is immitating the singer of "Fine Young Cannibals", and very well I may add (one of his best sound alikes). So if anything "She Drives Me Crazy" sounds like Kermit. And to add even more to this, Kermit and Piggy sang this song, "She Drives Me Crazy"...
 Does anyone know how to contact the "Muppet Holding Company" (A.K.A. Disney)
I wrote a letter but don't know where to send it please help! I posted the letter below. Enjoy!
I have visited Sesame Place amusement park several times. I went as a kid four years after it opened. Since I visited several time as a kid, and recently took my younger cousins (this was really just an excuse to go again). It is an awesome water park, with fun rides for all ages, exciting show...
I think the Jim Henson will stay, but a Disney may be added to. Many things I read said Disney bought "Jim Henson's Muppets", not "The Muppets" I think "Jim Henson's" is part of the brand name Disney bought. Also Disney has been using the "Muppet Holding Comany" title instead of Disney for...
I think any releases or products would say something like "Walt Disney Pictures Presents Jim Henson's The Muppets" or "Disney Home Entertainment Presents Jim Henson's The Muppets", similar to how Christmas Carol and Treasure Island were titled and released.
I don't think Disney will brand the...
Thanks for the info Philip, I was not familar with the other Tinkerdee episode. But I agree that encluding it would be great.
I was planning on writting to Disney Home Entertainment about this, but I have been unable to track down an address on the internet. Does anyone know where to send a...
Not to bug but...Today I wanted to re-look at the review for the new Fraggle Rock DVD and went to the reviews and It was not there. I then went back to the homepage and linked from there. But I don't know if you were aware that the Fraggle DVD was left off the list. Is there a reason for this...
I am secure enough in my masculinity to say always tear-up during Muppet Christmas Carol when Scrooge sees the future when Tiny Tim has passed away.
I also cried during "The Muppets Remember Jim Henson", especially when I first saw it, right after Jim's death.
Their are the intergalatic fish from Muppets in Space. They are pretty cool, and from Space.
Also Sesame Street has the "yip-yip-yip" Martians (I don't know their exact names, if they even had them), but they were from Mars and were awesome. Also Slimey (Oscar's worm) spent a lot of time in...
I am a huge Muppet Fan, I really enjoy the older work from the '60s and '70s. The sad thing is a lot of it is hard to find. I was thinking today about my some of favorite classic Muppet specials, the tales from MuppetLand. These three hour-long specials were great, under-rated, magical peices of...
