Coming Soon: Sesame Street Season 45

Holy crap... what happened to Mo Rocca?

Got a response from the Sesame Puppeteer Workshop...

In the earlier days of Steve D'Monster's YouTube series, the camera I used had one of those pull-out LCD screens that I could turn around and use as something in lieu of a monitor, but then I had made the switch to a digital camera, so without any kind of monitor, I was performing virtually...

Got a response from the Sesame Puppeteer Workshop...

That's actually something that many people have actually made threads on before in the past... where are aspiring puppeteers supposed to get their hands on monitors? I haven't... that almost sounds made-up.

The "I Saw Something REALLY Weird Today" Thread

So, apparently, Republicans are wanting the U.S. to go through another Civil War, only this time, instead of dividing the country by north and south, they're wanting to divide the country into several different sides (such as, the northeast is its own side, the southeast is its own side, the...

    New eBay puppet from JBPuppets

He looks like he could be Elmo's cousin. :)

Got a response from the Sesame Puppeteer Workshop...

So far, I've only seen or heard two rejection emails that weren't the same message that the rest of us got. I don't doubt that the number of submissions were in the hundreds, I knew that with an opportunity like this, they were probably going to get slammed with tons and tons of submissions. I...

    Learn Something New Everyday Thread

THE BUGALOOS never aired in the U.K. because the term, "Bugaloos" is considered rude over there.

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

So, what's the deal with all these websites offering to check your credit score, but don't require your credit card number? I mean, yeah, using your credit card number on the internet is a pretty stupid thing to do anyway, but I don't understand how a website can check your credit score without...

    When you need to rant...

Oh my... I'm... speechless... I'm baffled... I'm dumbfounded... I actually cannot believe that it's now politically incorrect to say, "Politically correct"... apparently, it's even now politically incorrect to say, "Politically incorrect," we now have to say, "Politically sensitive" and...

Now what's going on with YouTube?

So I see Warner Bros. removed a bunch of Whose Line clips, and I'm honestly surprised they left them alone for this long... I can remember way back when, during YouTube's genesis, when WB were really big copyright nazis, you so much as post a YTP or an MV of Whose Line, WB would yank them down...

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

As with the case of most biopics and movies based on true events, certain elements are going to be fictionalized or dramatized for the sake of storytelling.

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

Finally got to see SAVING MR. BANKS last night, it was pretty darn good if I do say so myself; I wasn't sure if I would be able to buy Tom Hanks as Walt Disney, somehow half the time I see Tom Hanks in a movie, I just can't get invested in the character he's playing, and it always comes off to...

Your Thoughts: "Jim Henson: The Biography" by Brian Jay Jones

I'm only into chapter three now (yeah, I'm slow), so I haven't really gotten too deep into Jim's career just yet, but something just crossed my mind... fast-foward to 1990, Michael Eisner was so eager to get his hands on the Muppets, it got me to thinking... Eisner was also a big supporter of...

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Drtooth, in spades. Lately, however, I have noticed that 480p (which I'll select if it's available) is being removed from certain videos, but at least in most of those cases, 720 or 1020 are still available. While I haven't had the issue with buffering knocking down the playback quality on...

Now what's going on with YouTube?

I too have AdBlocker Plus, and AdFender, but vids still can't be replayed. And it takes both of them to keep all of the ads and commercials at bay, because with just one of them alone, they somehow always managed to bypassing blocking.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

I was hoping the fluke was another one of their 24-hour glitches or something, but apparently it's not... you really can't replay videos anymore - the only way you can replay a video is refresh the entire page, or immediately move the playerhead back to the beginning before the vid finishes...

    When you need to rant...

http://threatpost.com/malicious-ads-on-dailymotion-redirect-to-fake-av-attack/103494 Yeah, uh, how come nobody pointed that deviantART has had notorious ads like this as well? dA's ads infected me six times in February 2010 alone, and those weren't the only times their ads infected me.

Got a response from the Sesame Puppeteer Workshop...

I'm seeing it all over Facebook now, I guess today was rejection day and then some. I can understand some people being disappointed, upset, and even hurt over this, but we must remember, even if there wasn't a call for submissions to attend a workshop, any chances of getting into Sesame, or even...
