"Parents can be forgiven if they believe that the Sesame Street of their day was much better than the Sesame Street their kids watch today...They can be forgiven because it is true."
"Old Sesame Street wasn’t afraid to show genuine anger…Yet the current Sesame Street can come across as stiff...
Steve said the Richard Muppetcast would happen sometime in January, but he couldn't promise January 7th. So hopefully soon. I pretty much sent him every single bit of trivia I ever found (most of which is already in here lol), so it will be interesting to see how it turns out. ;)
Oh dear, a cavity drilling, fun fun, heh. I haven't had a cavity in years thank goodness. But yeah, not as big a deal as having your wisdom teeth removed (I had all four removed at once, did you?). You'll be fine, just think pleasant thoughts! My dentist always had music playing which definitely...
That's probably true, and yes I wouldn't say actor-wise either. Because studies often show that women prefer watching male characters more than females. (That's been true of me definitely! However, I also believe there are very few decent women characters to choose from. The Golden Girls was...
Hehe, all true. However, those women are hailed because they are the shining, rebellious exceptions, not the rule. They all broke new ground; they were not instantly accepted because it was not the norm. Lucille Ball for instance, according to some sources, developed her character and humor from...
Actually many (if not most) movie trailers have very little to do with the film itself and can't really be relied upon when judging a movie's quality. They simply serve to appeal to a certain audience.
Lol, I'm glad I'm not the only one who's ever noticed this! For the most part, I have heard it pronounced as "R-AW-lf." Similar to the German name "Rolf." Perhaps the spelling was intended to remind people of a "howl."
Yet I have heard various characters and puppeteers say "Ralph" over the...
Well it's funny because it was probably one of the first Dr. Seuss cartoons I ever saw, and for years I thought it was perfectly natural for the Grinch and the Cat to be paired together. But in reality I don't think they ever were again, lol.
But anyway, I really liked it the songs are clever...
Exactly, that's what I meant. The ignore button is really for if a person is getting rude. However, learning to debate and disagree politely is something to celebrate. :)
That's fine, I mean we have to remember that art is very subjective and we are all entitled to our own opinions. :)
For my own part, I will pop in my DVD of old cartoon "The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat." :)
I don't want to get too gossipy, lol, but I will say that while MC is not perfect, the majority of people here are very civil. Other parts of the Internet just seem to attractive very rude people (or people who enjoy the freedom of being anonymously rude on the web). :)
I imagine if you were an incredibly sensitive person and didn't enjoy being disagreed with, you would eventually have everyone on your ignore list, lol. At which point, I would consider counseling! :p
I admit, I have used the ignore button before, but I do try to remember that it is only a...
Well I wouldn't consider Lola a real Looney Tune either; she was probably just there to provide gender equality. And so very often when they stick a female in comedies, they have nothing to do. They are not funny; they contribute nothing. As Nichelle Nicols from Star Trek once said, "Televison...
