Your Thoughts: Muppet Central Forum Upgrade June 21, 2014

The problem's getting worse. But, to answer the previous questions, 1. IE10 (yes, I know IE11 is now out, but I don't like it) and 2. Every message.

The perks and pitfalls of creating an online web series.

It would be nice to have free access to studios, but danged if it isn't bothersome to have to uproot and relocate yourself to do so. I know that's the way it's always been, even Jim was aware of that when the Muppets were starting to gain national attention, he knew you had to move to L.A. if...

The perks and pitfalls of creating an online web series.

I'll just go ahead and tell you now from experience, really the biggest con when it comes to producing web original content is that there really is no room for originality. Let's face it: people who get on the internet aren't looking for what creators are putting out there to showcase their...

Sesame Street Season 45 Episode 4502 - Bert's Training Wheels

My PBS is a day late with the new season, this episode aired today. I don't have much to say, but... 1. It's nice to be able to see SST in the afternoon again. 2. This Billy guy performing Ernie isn't really half bad... Ernie sounds a little more like Link Hogthrob at times, but other than...

    When you need to rant...

That's basically how TV Land has been responding to people who have been complaining about them phasing out classic television in favor of their own original sitcoms: apparently classic sitcoms were only appealing to older audiences, and God forbid we cater to older audiences, it's the 18-25...

    Excellent Frank Oz Interview (2014)

This is what I'm talking about: this is part of the problem around here, where you can't have a difference of opinion without somebody whining that there's too much "negativity" on the forum. Seriously, this guy has been this way for years. I remember back when news of THE MUPPETS (2011) first...

    When you need to rant...

One of our local channels airs back-to-back episodes of SEINFELD every weekday, so today I was checking the schedule to see what episodes they'd be playing today (and they really haven't been airing any good ones lately), only to find that the show's been replaced with reruns of HOT IN...

Sesame Street Season 45 Episode 4501 - School for Chickens

Uh... my PBS is showing a rerun today...

Christmas: Are they shoving it down our throats too early?

Okay, this is th icing on the cake this year: egg nog is in stores already. When has egg nog ever been out this early? I mean I like egg nog and all (and people, just because it has egg in it doesn't mean it's going to kill you, and it's not alcoholic, people just mix alcohol in it 'cause...

    Excellent Frank Oz Interview (2014)

Yes, I agree with you on that: if there was one thing Frank was known for aside from his talent was his arrogant streak - he had a good little anecdote about essentially being a moody kid when he first joined the Muppets, but that Jim had such patience with people and saw good in everybody, and...

    Excellent Frank Oz Interview (2014)

Can I just say that I knew Frank was going to get a little upset when this guy started talking about doing voices? I think the most profound thing Frank said in this interview is that in this day and age, when people think of puppets, they automatically think of the Muppets (and to say Muppets...

There Needs To Be a Better Respect of Opinion Around Here

I noticed that we've kind of slid back into an old routine around here lately: people whining about the "negativity" on the forum, but once again, this so-called "negativity" is in regard to people expressing their opinions about something, and just because the opinion isn't sun-kissed and...

    R.I.P Joan Rivers (1933-2014)

R.I.P. to one of the most crass, classless, arrogant, and hypocritical entertainers Hollywood ever produced.

    Questions about anything

Whatever happened to that squirrel horror movie that was supposed to come out this year? I know three squirrels in particular that are dying to see it.

    Is Frozen overrated?

Y'all ready f'this? FROZEN is getting a primetime special on ABC tomorrow night about the making of the movie. I remember when like HBO used to do short behind-the-scenes subjects about new releases and such, but I don't recall a movie ever getting its own primetime network TV special about...

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Is there any way possible to download blocked vids? Everybody says to use proxy servers, and I have, but even through proxies, vids are still blocked. Sarge?

Your Thoughts: Half-hour Sesame Street begins on PBS September 1, 2014

What exactly is the point of all this? Why go through all the trouble, time, and effort to cobble together two different versions of the same episode? Can't they just air the same episode twice a day like they used to? Wouldn't that save the production and editing staff a lot of time?

Now what's going on with YouTube?

That happened with the Google+ merge last year: any comments that were made before they implemented the Google+ commenting system cannot be rated or replied to, you can only do that with Google+ comments.
