Beth: Boy these awards sure are exciting
Abby: They are! I'm having so much fun. How about you Big Bird?
*Beth smiles as she watches Red and Gobo sitting a few rows in front of them*
Hmm, interesting. Well like I said, it used to be all Fridays throughout the year, but now it's just during Lent. Except for those 65 or over or something like that.
Oh Claudia, you haven't been around long enough to know that this isn't the first time Ed's re-worked one of his creations. :) I'm only teasing though, we do love you and your ideas Ed! And I agree with your lil sis here that a new thread would probably be best.
The best I think are the Energizer Bunny, The M&M's, and there was this sock puppet dog that used to advertise a now defunct pet website who was pretty funny.
The worst? Gotta be that stupid Burger King!
Where did you hear that? It used to be ALL Fridays of the year believe or not, but after Vatican II it was changed to just during Lent. Maybe that's the confusion.
Ok, I just gotta say, never read this thread when you are hungry.
I'm craving a hamburger and a shake! But, it's Friday, I'm Catholic so I'm not eating meat on Fridays during Lent, so my craving will have to wait. Sigh.
*Abby Cadabby flitters about leaving chocolates and glittery hearts at all the residents rooms from all of the girls in room 3. Happy Valentine's Day!*
Red: Ok Gobo that's great! I'll see you later!
*She wanders back over to Beth and Mokey*
Red: He said yes!
Mokey: I knew he would
Beth: It will be a great time.
Red: I'm, um, glad you're back too Gobo. Hey, I had a question for you....*pauses* Would you want to go to the awards ceremony with me this weekend? Just as friends of course? Um, what do you say?
*Across the room Beth and Mokey look on at the exchange between Gobo and Red*
Mokey: I'm so...
Well we've been long overdue for a snowstorm and it sounds like we're getting one tonight. I'm not very excited about it, I have to drive to a meeting away from my work tomorrow and it's a little further than what I normally have to drive for work. Oh well, what are you going to do?:zany:
Red: Oh, pizza? Sure! *goes to room 3* Hey guys, pizza in the common room!
Beth: Really?
Abby: Yum!
Wanda: I'm there
Mokey: Me too!
*they arrive and say hello to the others*
Red *slowly approaching Gobo*: Um, hi Gobo, how, um, how have you been?
*Unaware that Gobo is with Wembley and Kate at Kathy's room Red approaches room 5*
Red: Here goes nothing *knocks on the door and then practices what she's going to say* Hi Gobo, it's good to see you....um wait how about Gobo, I didn't know you were back...oh that's no good, um, maybe I should...
