I know what you mean Pork! I love a good salad every now and then. I love salad bars too, though maybe they're not as healthy since I tend to pile on everything they give you the option to have! :)
*Glomps Redsonga*
I LOVE this chapter! I'm a big fan of the Gobo/Red relationship idea and I just love that they're trying to tell each other how they feel and they keep getting interrupted and it's just so cute and I love it! Great stuff, keep it coming!
I had almost forgotten about the Doughboy. I do love him, always have. He does bring a smile to my face.
You know who else is cool? Charlie the Tuna. My husband has a very old Charlie the Tuna lamp, it's pretty neat.
Oh I love the interaction between Red and Gobo and then there's Wembley, surprising, but funny. And Mokey introducing Poppy. It's all so wonderful and I just want to keep reading more!
Well if we're signing up now to help next year, put me down! I'd love to help in some format, like Mrs. P, I've been around for all of them too. I also like Prawnie's idea of nomintating and going with a top five or something. I'm sure we'll all think of good ideas over the next year to...
*Red tries to sneak into room 3*
Mokey: Red! There you are!
Red: Oh...hi Mokey, I didn't think anyone would be here or up for that matter
Mokey: Where were you after the awards?
Red: Um, Gobo showed me some of the neat places he's discovered around town, you know, from exploring and stuff...
Beth *enters the dorm room carrying a sleeping Abby*: Well, the awards sure were fun, but I guess she got a little tired out from all the excitement.
Mokey: I had so much fun presenting. I'm glad to see you won an award for your short Christmas story.
Beth: Me too, that was a nice surprise...
I listened last night and it was so fun! You guys did a great job, it was neat hearing the awards "handed out" and Prawnie, your impressions are really good! Thanks alot, that was alot of fun.
Thanks to Ed and Prawnie and Steve for all the work they put into this awards ceremony. It was alot of fun you guys!
Come on Abby, let's go back to the dorms.
Abby *sleeping*: Snore
Ok, guess I gotta take her myself.
Abby: Beth you won an award!
Beth: I did! Gee, how'd I miss that? *runs to the stage* Thank you! I have fun writing short little stories sometimes and I'm just thrilled that someone appreciated my modern twist on the Gift of the Magi. Thank you one and all!
Beth: Nice to see Mokey up there presenting an award
Abby: She looks pretty tonight
*a few rows ahead*
Red: Woo-hoo! Yay Mokey! *stops when Gobo gives her a stare* Oh, Mokey didn't win an award? Oops. Um, carry on!
