"Hate" on Sesame Street Youtube channel

Anytime anybody mentions "Elmo's Potty Time," I just can't resist shoehorning this in:

Sesame Street and the India Party

"Poo" is pretty much as kid-friendly as you can get. Heck, I can remember back in the 90s when everybody made a big deal out of "crap" or "crud" being used in cartoons. Besides, they've said "worse" things on the show before in the past; "Everybody Loves Ice Cream" has been censored because...

    Zemekis/Disney To Remake "Yellow Submarine?"

Hey, a GET FUZZY movie was supposedly in the works as well, I don't know whatever happened to that.

"Hate" on Sesame Street Youtube channel

Looking at "The Color of Me," the only comments that are being displayed right now are mostly positive... really, the only negative comment I came across was some wiseguy who said "vanilla" isn't represented on TV anymore. But then again, I didn't scroll through the rest of the comments.

Is JHC No Longer Involved with Alexander?

That's the problem whenever you try to adapt a children's book into a feature-length movie, like Drtooth previously pointed out. On THE CAT IN THE HAT DVD (yes, I have that movie, I actually find it a might entertaining), one of the first things the director confesses on the commentary that one...

    Questions about anything

Okay, I finally got an answer to this question, apparently #FOTP is a real thing: it's called FRIENDS OF THE PEOPLE, and it's apparently some kind of sitcom (I guess?) coming to truTV later this month, and oh shocker... it's about sex and losing virginity! Why the **** am I not surprised?!

The "I Saw Something REALLY Weird Today" Thread

Okay, seriously, why do they keep airing that commercial for MWW coming to DVD August 12 when that was two months ago?

Boy practically living right next door to NYC really has its perks, am I right?

That's interesting to make note of.

    Questions about anything

You just kind of have to watch, and you'll see that many cartoon characters read with their eyes closed.

    Questions about anything

I can't remember if I asked this before, but why exactly is it that a lot of cartoon character appear to read books with their eyes closed? I've never really understood that... and how can they even read with their eyes closed?

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

In the wake of the news that Taylor Swift dropped on us recently that she has made the transition from a so-called country star to a pop star (I guess this is in response to Frank Oz transitioning from a voice performer to a puppet performer), she has also announced that she's going to do the...

    The Chipmunks

Well this sucks. I don't know for sure, but I've heard some speculation that The Hub was actually going to be airing the 80s cartoon series sometime early in 2015, and I know there's been petitioning (not in the literal sense, mind you) for The Hub to also start airing THE GREAT SPACE COASTER...

Is JHC No Longer Involved with Alexander?

Well, it's kind of like back towards the beginning of the Turn of the Millennium... didn't JHC produce some kind of a lackluster CATS & DOGS knock-off? And CATS & DOGS in and of itself was a fairly average movie - I remember seeing and liking the premise, but I seem to recall getting bored with...

Labyrinth sequel in development - Variety report

They've been shopping around that FR movie for years now, and they can't get anybody to cooperate with them on it. As for DC, didn't they already do a sequel, but as a graphic novel instead of a movie?

Is JHC No Longer Involved with Alexander?

You can't really trust Wikipedia, but again, IMDb lists Lisa as a producer and JHC as one of the companies, so I guess they're still involved. I just got really confused, again because the last we heard, the movie had been shelved, and nothing more was said about it since then, but now it's out...

    The Chipmunks

I didn't say it was ugly, I said the animation looks underwhelmingly cheap. Even JANE AND THE DRAGON has more detail and texture in its animation, and I think it's from a Canadian animation company too.
