Yeah, I also had a grown man with a beard and a pillow case come to my door... but there was a reason for that: he came with his family, which had four or five kids, one of whom was sick and couldn't do much trick-or-treating, so he was getting candy for his sick kid.
It's necessarily something that I saw that was really weird... but the fact that it's not only the first sweater day of the season, but it's also Halloween... I've never had to wear a sweateron Halloween before... pretty sweet, lol.
I've had a vampire, two princesses, a soldier, a karate kid, a ninja, and a kid with a coat over his costume since it's turned cold come to me door tonight.
That kid in the coat was so cute when he came to the door:
KID: It's me! (As if I know him, lol)
ME: Hey, how you doing?
KID: You got...
One more thing I have to mention about MC Sounds of the Seasons Halloween music... what I don't quite understand is why they'll play the original version of THE ADDAMS FAMILY theme in addition cover versions, but they only play cover versions of THE MUNSTERS theme and never the original.
My gosh, it's like the entire city of Knoxville is in a tizzy now because it's below 70 degrees; everybody's just up in arms over it being "cold," so they're all grabbing sweaters, jackets, hoodies, coats, eating chili, and all the stuff to keep from freezing...
I've actually tried using pins sticking into a can once, but it kept popping out, so I settled on the double face tape.
Unfortunately, none of my puppets have posible fingers, they're all just stuffed.
I'm late to the discussion, but to add my own .0000019 cent's worth...
Is Disney having a series of interstitial shorts of the Muppets on Disney Junior a good thing? Who knows at this point? It's hard to tell.
Is it good that Disney is looking for ways to utilize the Muppets and get more out...
I think he meant what's good material to cover the backsides of the mouth plates so his thumb and fingers won't be sliding around sweaty plates and to get a better grip.
I'm curious as to know what some of you out there do when it comes to having puppets holding objects in their hands? I've tried a few different methods myself, almost all of which had subpar results at best: monofilament, stretched out ink pen spring (both work best on furry hands, where the...
Sometimes our paper is inconsistent with comics, I think they base it on regional popularity; I remember for a couple of years in the early 2000s, they ran SHERMAN'S LAGOON, but then they just dropped it, though I think it's still around, isn't it?
Then of course there was that MR. POTATO HEAD...
Well, as I said before, she's working like a hundred jobs right now, and she's also among those who feel the dynamics of the atmosphere of MC has gotten too high school and dramatic, hence why she and others aren't here hardly anymore, and I can kind of see that at times.
Yes, I think King Agrippa was a little confused on that as well. :p
Speaking of which, I still fully anticipate his return on Halloween this year. :scary:
And now that the temps are back to normal and have dipped below 70 degrees, everybody's whining and crying about how "cold" it is, and apparently they're all in a panic over "wintery mix" this weekend. I didn't know the forecast of 60 degrees and rain was a "wintery mix."
Unless it was picked up by TV Land or something, I doubt an animated version of PICKLES would easily find an audience... not sure how many people out there would willingly want to sit down and watch an animated series about grandparents.
Well, it still seems to be taboo, considering nobody seems...
