I do believe I remember those! I had forgotten about Kermit interacting with Elmo, which is almost kind of funny to think about, but I guess they were on Sesame Street together for a while.
There's one other Elmo sketch I like (and I'm not sure when this one comes from), but there's one...
Well, first off, I still like Elmo. I mean, seriously, let's not get upset at a felt piece of cloth. It's not Elmo's fault the position he's been thrust into- it's an unfortunate marketing strategy on the part of Sesame Workshop. But anyway, I suppose some of the main Elmo moments I remember...
Sure it does. At least, I'd count it. I particularly love the ending scene where the Muppets are reading letters to Jim Henson and Robin reads simply, "We will miss you Jim Henson." (Man, I about start crying at this part:cry:)
And then Fozzie cancels the closing number because he doesn't...
I pretty much like all the Muppet specials, but I guess some of my particular favorites would be:
The Frog Prince
The Muppets at Walt Disney World
"The Secrets of the Muppets" from The Jim Henson Hour
"Sesame Street: 20 Years and Counting" from The Jim Henson Hour
Sesame Street: 25 Years...
Hey,
Just saw this funny story on Fox News today. Apparently, one lady found an unwelcome surprise in her trash can as she was taking out the trash the other day. An escaped criminal was hiding in her trash can! :concern:
He ran off, but police soon caught him. It was just funny...
Well, ordinarily I wouldn't say that word either, but I was quoting directly from what was said in class. But I should have thought of that before. Sorry about that.:o
Hey,
I just had a weird Muppets reference in class today that I thought I'd share. It was in one of my library science classes and a student was talking about characters she could portray for a storytime for children. She mentioned that one of the characters she dresses up as is...

Check out the cover art! Nice!!!
I'm the baby! Gotta love me!:)
(Not the mama!) (or was it, "Knock the mama!") :concern:
I got my copy of "Down in Fraggle Rock" at good old Sam Walton's store yesterday! (Wal-Mart! )
It's pretty cool for people who may not be able to afford Fraggle Rock Season1 just yet (I just now finally got my copy for Christmas). Anyway, this DVD has 3 episodes and 1 bonus episode that's...
Sounds great! I'll be interested in seeing how this turns out! I can definitely see Fraggle Rock and Sesame Street coexisting peacefully. I do have a technical question though. Is the story going to be set in the 1980s, as you had said, before "A Muppet Family Christmas"? Since, Fraggle Rock...
LOL!!! There's a really awesome Muppet Babies parody on the latest Strongbad email on HomestarRunner.com
Check it out- http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail140.html
(Incidentally, it also parodies Scooby-Doo, Clue Club, The Hardy Boys (the 1969 cartoon series) and other such...
Wow! I think I vaguely recall this sketch now that I've heard about it again. Oscar giving Ernie a replacement rubber duckie! Yes! Oh man, it's been so many years since I've seen some of this stuff......
"Hill Street Twos"? As in parody of "Hill Street Blues"?
Don't think I've seen this sketch, but it sounds cool. Can anyone give me some details on this? thanks;)
You can hear a clip of the song (not the Sesame Street version) here.

And you can find the lyrics here (along with TONS of other classic Sesame Street and...
I used to love that song as a kid! My brothers and I used to have this song pretty well memorized and would sing it all the time. "There's a hole in the bucket, dear Liza, dear Liza...":)
