Oh yeah I adore musicals, I just love to make fun of the things I enjoy, lol.
"Maybe things will change and maybe they'll rearrange I may see my friend come back again." That's from a song Mokey sang when Gobo was stuck in Outer Space.
I'm blanking, when were they used in TMM?
Well here's how I see it. Everyone complains that secularism is destroying the holidays. Meaning people wanting to purposely remove God from holidays, in a misguided attempt to avoid offending anyone. And I agree, I think it's gone way too far. But I don't believe secularism is the major...
This kinda reminds me of something that always makes me laugh on FR. In a couple episodes, the Fraggles are actually trying to compose songs and comment on how hard it is. Of course, they don't seem to realize they're composing every time they randomly break into song! Lol
I'm being nitpicky I...
Not only that, I've heard nearly the same melody in a few Fraggle songs. But it makes sense, pretty much the same writers the whole series, having to come up with two songs every week. I imagine it would be necessary to steal from yourself occasionally, lol.
I like the Fraggle dolls, most of the details are surprisingly accurate! But I agree the mouth should be more flexible. Otherwise the characters look a little blank. And yeah 3 year olds shouldn't be let anywhere near it!
Again, it's great that they're trying, but this is just not a good time...
On the Your Face! site, Marty Robinson talked about how if a guest star showed some kind of superior attitude on the set of Sesame Street, he could be brutal to them, or cut them down to size so their ego wouldn't take up the set, so to speak.
Well, it would really depend on the situation...
I've thought the same thing. I do hope they realize that the series started evolving a bit in the '80s and more "special" episodes were produced, which really should see the light of day.
Oh, how true that is. ;)
Oh I know EXACTLY what you mean, lol. A lot of these big movie stars are put to same when put up against actual actors.
Reminds me of a Star Trek special a few years ago, hosted by Ben Stiller. He was always called a nerd by his friends. "But now I'm sharing the...
Well if I was an accomplished Opera singer, I would be flattered and gratified if a show was genuinely making the effort to introduce kids to such a misunderstood genre.
I heard they're still making that effort in many inner city middle schools, teaching kids the art and history of Opera, and...
Yeah Boober's kinda weird that way. He could be one of the younger characters, but he obviously doesn't quite act his age. He's already a bit ahead of most young Fraggles due to his compulsive worrying and need to keep things neat.
Cool idea! Finally a children's toy that actually doesn't cause damage!
And I wish I was kidding! The US has a big problem in this area as we know. The government turned a blind eye to bad working practices overseas, and we here at home were content with cheaper priced toys.
I'm not sure what year exactly, but mid '80s definitely. I even remember seeing it at the time, lol.
"You can have the duck to love..."
"What? !" LOL
They used to have night shots a lot, with people yelling out of windows like a real city, lol.
And I love the deeper message, that love is...
Yeah if an interview with Kevin does go through, I would definitely love to hear more about the other stuff. I just would like to hear Jane or the others first because it's more of a rare opportunity. But like I said, we win either way, so there's no tug of war, lol. I'll be happy with whatever...
Yeah I just adore the song, it's so lovely and optimistic! (I had it as my signature for a little bit lol)
You can tell Placido Domingo thought the story was really cute and funny. He seemed very humble, lol.
Not like the Flamingo! Remember this sketch?

Well I could always imagine Steve in a Heavy Metal band, hehe (and that's a compliment ;) ).
Or maybe, Wembley wanted to dye his hair but couldn't decide what color! :coy:
