Oy...this story...oh how I want to be writing it.....
Sadly I'm going out of town this weekend and all the fun stuff that goes along with leaving work for a couple of days is leaving me quite busy.
I will get back to this someday though! I hope! :o
Beth: I got your message Ed, no worries, sent a note off to the managment team!
Abby: Where are Red and Mokey?
Beth: I don't know, I'm starting to get worried about them
*suddenly a head pops through the hole in the wall*
Red: We're back! *bursts into the room*
Mokey: And we're so excited...
Beth: *opens door to room 3* And we're back
Wanda: And it's more or less how we left it
Beth: This is good. Wonder when Abby will get here
*suddenly a poof of pink smoke appears and Abby comes out of it, with a trademark pumpkin as well*
Abby: Oh darn, another stupid pumpkin
Beth: But you...
Beth: Hey look at that, we'll finally be moving in for the semester
Wanda: Great! Do Red and Mokey know?
Beth: We'll send a message down the Fraggle Hole if we have to, I'm sure they'll pop up eventually.
*they gather bags and move toward the entrance*
Well I found it on Youtube because I missed it the first time. I'm a big Josh Groban fan so that part of it was cool for me, but yeah, Animal looked really silly, but if you watch the whole montage was meant to be kind of campy and silly, so in a way, it fit.
I'm sorry to hear that William! You're one of my very good friends here, I will miss you if you go, I hope you stay, but if you go, I will miss you. Keep in touch ok?
I just wanted to chime in that I agree with Kathy on the posting for the sake of posting - I just didn't know how to say it. I have noticed alot of posts with four words or fewer in them and honestly, there's no reason for that.
Daniel is right too - love everyone, I agree.
And Dave is...
Boy, I didn't sign on last night and look what I missed!
Thank you Prawnie for writing such an insightful post and for starting some great conversation. I am so excited to see so many postive responses and posts that are showing folks are taking the time to think about what they are writing...
I can't believe how popular this thread has become! That's awesome! Well, not that we all have fears, but that we're able to share them with one another.
Now if you'll excuse me I'm leaving before Snowthy decides it's funny to pop another balloon by me...
OMG Dave, I totally grew up on those shows, I watched them and then flipped over to Sesame Street, it was a routine! I didn't know that JHC developed the costumes, that is awesome! Looking back they really were the cheeziest shows ever, but I LOVE them. I have been wanting to find episodes...
LOVED this chapter Lisa! I'm right there with Prawnie, I LOVE the brother/sister relationship you created with these two, it's soooo powerful! And the line "Grabbed his banjo and threw it in the swamp!" I know I've read that before! :) This is so amazingly YOU Lisa, it's all the things I...
Ok, I realized I never answered my own question, I just made fun of the gal from the radio.
Soooo, anyway, I have a phobia about sudden loud noises. Actually, loud noises in general, but sudden ones are the worst. I hate thunderstorms, fireworks, gun salutes, explosions of any kind...
Ok, didn't know where this thread should go so if one of the mods feels like moving it, feel free.
So I was driving home from work yesterday and listening to my favorite afternoon radio show. They have a segment at 5:00 called "Anyone listening who" and they pick topics and ask viewers to...
*Beth and Wanda the Cat pull up in Beth's car*
Beth: Still closed. Hmm, want to get a hotel room?
Wanda:*sarcastically* Where? The Happiness Hotel?
Beth: Good point, never mind.
Of course we'll complain Lisa, but it is just because we love you. :) I have to say I'm very excited about this story and I get giddy when I see that you have posted more!
