Wow! Nice puppets. I tried my hand at making them when I started my ministry, but could never get them quite right. I was more into the performing aspect anyways. I get my puppets from puppet productions, but your designs seem much more creative.
In the original book the kalidahs were viscious creatures that we're chasing them over the bridge. The joke was that statler and waldorf would tear you apart with their insults instead of their claws.
Maybe a variety show type special every now and then. It could be like the old muppet show and give them a chance to test the waters to see if it would fly.
