My physic Muppet fan skills are telling me that the character in question is...Lips, Robin, or Thog. Most likely Lips. Dave Goelz actually said Lips will be getting a line, and Robin's only scheduled to have a cameo. As for Thog, well, I don't think the big guy has found his voice yet!
Hmm. It certainly looks like the Flying Zucchini Brothers. But, it is hard to tell, after all, they are being shot out of cannons! I'd love to see the Flying Zucchini Brothers again, and they certainly fit the "worldwide" theme this movie is going for (with being Italian and all)
I'm not sure what's better, seeing the Happy Yellow Creature in these commercials, or the fact that people actually recognize him. There are quite a few YouTube comments about his appearance, calling him various names because he was never given an official one.
Although, I think I found the...
Wow. I honestly did not expect that. You really cannot get more obscure than a character who hasn't even been named.
I'm so glad they're remembering so many forgotten characters! That's what makes the movie exciting for me. I could know the whole plot, beginning to end, and I'd still go to...
I've basically come to accept the fact that the Muppets are never going to be as important to Disney as any Pixar, Marvel, or any animated feature they have. They will NEVER be as top priority. But, that's within good reasoning. The Muppets are a relatively new property to them (although that...
I thought I'd create this thread so we could share the character designs we like or dislike. Which character do you think improved over the years? Which do you think got worse? There's one rule to this thread, however, and that is; no making fun of season one character designs. We know, the...
The thing is, I just hope it doesn't turn out like Beaker and Swedish Chef from the last movie. We never got them over here in the U.S. online store, and I don't want Constantine to end up the same way.
Speaking of the Swedish Chef, he's sold out, too! I really hope they acknowledge how much...
Yes, those are the ones I'm talking about. Although, in the book, JG is referred to as "Jade green hunchbacked Frackle", Gloat is referred to as "Grumpy green Frackle", and Boppity is referred to as "Bolshy blue Frackle".
Well, this book is actually a bit complicated when it comes to that...
Y'see, I'm not sure if that's the correct spelling or not. When Bill Barretta signs his name, he has the "é", but on the second:
But, according to this Muppetism, it's on the first "e":
But, then again, on his book, it's not present:
So, honestly....I'm not sure! I wouldn't sweat it, they...
I had no idea Matt Vogel had such a good singing voice. Floyd sounded amazing! :sing:
Animal's schtick got annoying pretty quickly, but I've practically come to expect that from him.
I noticed a few people point out that Rowlf and Sam weren't there. To be frank, I'd prefer to see Lips and...
I went out to my local Barnes and Noble today and bought a copy. I couldn't resist.
Shortly put, It's a VERY good book. Many great back-stories, jokes, and "Muppet files". Although, I think it could've used a lot less filler pages. For example, there's a two page spread just with a picture of...
Like the rest of you, I was surprised many times by the characters in this book. Gorgon Heap, Splurge, the two Nigel's, Miss Mousey, Brewster, Paul Revere, the Clodhoppers, the Bossmen, were all very unexpected surprises for me.
However, what really won me over was the Sam and Friends...
I'm sad to hear that Droop is not in the book. He's one of my favorite characters.
Are characters such as Thog, Beautiful Day Monster, Behemoth, or Gorgon Heap included?
Just to think. This book will introduce all the really old, obscure characters to a whole new generation of Muppet fans. Some kids will grow up with this book. Just imagine it...hundreds and hundreds of kids spouting information about characters like Lips, Angus Mcgonagle, and Mildred Huxtetter...
