I remember Animal being in my nightmares when I was little.

Where are all these classic Sesame Street episodes coming from?

Very plausible theory right there, however, it is worth noting that the American Public Broadcasting Archive does not even have these episodes listed on their website yet. I don’t know if he got these through some early access before they go up on their site, or if he just got it through one of...

The “help me remember a thing from my childhood” thread

Now, I don’t know if this kind of thread has been made already, but I wanted to create this for anyone that is trying to remember a thing from their childhood, whether it be a show, game, book, or any other product that they might have encountered during their youth, Muppet-related or not. With...

Where are all these classic Sesame Street episodes coming from?

Some of them have been uploaded on YouTube privately as “unlisted.”

Where are all these classic Sesame Street episodes coming from?

Because, the good folks at the Muppet Wiki have politely asked people NOT re-upload these clips anywhere, otherwise we would likely not get much more of these rare clips that they are kindly sharing with us.

Where are all these classic Sesame Street episodes coming from?

This is why I believe that when the Muppet Wiki uploads these rare clips, they should at least put a disclaimer not to re-upload these, or watermark the videos so that people at least know the source of these clips (and I know how unpopular the latter is). I want to give him the benefit of the...

    Ingrid appreciation thread

I mean, if you like her, that’s great, but I doubt there are many others on this forum who share those same sentiments. Because of this, you’re probably not going to get a large response from the community on this thread.

    Ingrid appreciation thread

Well, let’s be honest, Ingrid isn’t exactly one of those characters that people have much appreciation for (or even talk about for that matter). She’s one of those characters that to those who grew up watching mostly forget about (and for very good reasons).

We should all know by now that if it’s a thing that exists, there’s going to be an online fanbase for it.

I don't think there is one out there at all.

    Sesame Street Seasons 30-34

Because (very likely) if you want to see such episodes, you have to earn it, and using the “gimme gimme” mentality is not going to help. You see, before the days of file-sharing sites, if people wanted to see certain rare television media that could not be found elsewhere, they did this thing...

    Bootleg Sesame Street mascot costumes

Okay, Oscar looks like the parody version as seen on MadTV, and did Abby Cadabby just morph with Kippi Ben Kippod?

Would the Muppets be better off owned by Warner Bros.?

That's where I was trying to go with this. It's sad, but it's true.

Would the Muppets be better off owned by Warner Bros.?

I get where you're coming from, and I agree that corporate influence is part of the problem, but even during its final years under the Jim Henson Company, a lot of what they were coming out with did not deliver the same laughs that they delivered during its heyday. I'm not sure how much that...

Would the Muppets be better off owned by Warner Bros.?

I don’t think it would make a difference either way. The only way the Muppets will ever be successful again is if they can find a way to make audiences laugh as they did four decades ago. They still have the ability to do that, regardless of any corporation or entity they are under.

There's got to be a way to get some of these episodes?

I think what you meant to say was "Thank you, Scarecroe, for uploading small bits of these episodes. While I wish I could see the whole thing, I'm grateful that you're giving us something instead of nothing."

Where are all these classic Sesame Street episodes coming from?

Well, then I guess your only other option (and I know this is not a popular one) is simply watermark your videos, at least people will know where the content originated from.

Where are all these classic Sesame Street episodes coming from?

Sadly, people on the internet have a hard time of understanding the concept of ‘no’ or ‘don’t.’ You may tell them not to do something, but (as long they understand that they don’t face any real repercussions) they will do it anyways. It is simply within their tendency to do as they will, even if...
